I took this lucky snapshot at the First of August (Swiss National Day) celebration in Atherton last Saturday.
I applied natural HDR processing on the skin to bring out the tones, and stronger HDR processing on other parts of the photo.

On the way to Yosemite I discovered this orchard along Highway 120 somewhere between Manteca and Escalon, California. I think these are almond trees. I love symmetries.
I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure. I took bracketed exposures, but a single one was sufficient for processing since the Sony sensor has a very high dynamic range at 100 ISO. That way I could avoid deghosting the image due to moving twigs and petals.

Waited on a parking deck for the super moon to come out. Sadly, the clouds didn't open up, so no super moon for me but frozen fingers instead :(

I put the camera very low at the center of the road, almost touching the asphalt. The whole image is HDR, all but the road is monochrome. I am trying to experiment creatively.
