Learning socially has many perspectives. I have tried to capture a few of them in this mind map. This mindmap is a personal note from various stuff I have been reading on the web.

The end of the line, not according to the information in Project 44 at the museum site. Hope the yare successful. The museum for the Lancaster and Chester had a number of pictures of this locomotive in operation. I am on the other side of hiway 34, elevating myself by standing on the rear gate of my Saturn Vue. The look on the passerby's faces said it all who is the gray hair wierdo standing on the back of that nice car taking pictures of that old engine. My feet must have been hiding the North Carolina License Plate!

Was a baldwin locomotive works graduate in 1927 and lasted until atleast 1966 which is the latest pic and date I have found so far. the construction Number is 59751.

I feel very sorry for the museum, that folks cannot leave these pieces of history alone without being reminded and posted. Note a number of important pieces are missing like a bell and headlight and I believe steam whistle. No respect for elders in this country no doubt! There are some tremendous pieces of equipment and lots of history in this museum. I hope to visit again and will plan the visit to coincide with their being open

These photos were taken with a zoom lense and SCRM property was not trespassed on! Sorry for the inopertune angles. Pictured here is the Ex USAF Baldwin RS4TC switcher #1276 formerly of Shaw AFB. The USAF Switcher carries the symbol/logo of the 20th fighter wing, the host unit at Shaw AFB. This museum was closed and marked as no trespassing. It is only open on Sundays and I was there on Monday. It is one of 4 museums I was able to see while in SC. My wife was at a conference and I was free to take pix! These switchers were a neat find and history lesson.

Not so pretty side but it does feature the Railroad Museum Sign.

The spring arrangement under the car frame is interesting. If you know a formal name of have information on the arrangement, please pass it on. This car is located at the south Carolina Railroad Museum and the photos were taken from the highway, due to museum property being posted as no trespassing.

The SCRM is a most fascinating museum with an absolutely eclectic mix of railroad equipment both by age, by diversity of geographic location and by type. If you don't believe it look at *ALL* the pix so far. Sorry about the angle, best I could do off property.

Canadian National MU cars class was EP-35a. They were built by Canadian Car and Foundry in 1952 and used GE Electrical Equipment. the ylasted in service until 1995. 6735 is the motor car and the two behind are control trailer cars. they were usually used in 3's. There were apparently 6 sets built totaling 18 cars. All did not survive until 1995. This is a seriously fascinating find in Rocton, South Carolina...who would have thought!

A rather good view showing how incredibly depressing the (no longer) 'new' Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh building is - it's just pish from beginning to end, with absolutely no redeeming features whatsoever. A classic example of New Labour PFI gone spectacularly wrong - I have my doubts as to whether or not it will last the full length of the contract. After only ten years certain parts look fit for demolition.

On a more positive note, that's Craigmillar Castle lit up on hill in the background. Lovely!

Plant space behind the corrugated wall. Spent some time standing at the Ventilation Extract Vent and got nice and toasty.
