".... And we build up castles
In the sky and in the sand
Design our own world
Ain't nobody understand ....
.... As long as we are flyin'
All this world ain't got no end .... "

E o silêncio: tem outro
lado?

And what about silence: does it have another
side?

"To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour."
William Blake (1757-1827), a poet, painter, mystic and visionary, considered eccentric, if not mad, in his own day, brightened my own University days of at times tedious study of the English literature of the period, and his immortal poetry being a reflection of his own inner vision has remained my unsurpassed favourite to this day ...
On the beach of De Cocksdorp on the island Texel, 2010.
The wind was blowing the sand with high speed over the beach.

Lancelin is about 1.5 hours’ drive north of Perth. It was my first stop on the way to The Pinnacles. Probably best at sunrise/set (same as most spots) but with high level cloud plus low clouds, the sky was quite interesting as well.
The sand dunes are about two kilometres long and is nestled directly inland from Lancelin Township which are the biggest in Western Australia.
Sand boarding down 45 degree angle dunes or dirt bike or four wheel drive is what brings most tourists hence…
I went to the smaller/southern end to avoid foot steps, sand boards and tyre tracks. Light rain overnight may give the different colours.
The day started with a Safari tour in the desert. I always wanted to experience a day in the desert and see that with my own eyes. We were able to stop to take few snaps and enjoy the views and the movement of the sand through the wind. Notice the ripples that are caused because of that. Just nature in pure state.
Thank you all for your appreciation.
