rustic vanilla-lemon-cranberry biscuits - I got the stamp from my sister-in-law. used this recipe of mine, just with finely ground wholemeal spelt flour.
This is the sign I was in search of, the sign I drove nearly 90 minutes to find. That is, 90 minutes from the *correct* turn off. First though, I went the wrong way and ended up in Virginia Dale (see previous images) ... by the time I made it back and over to the designated spot, a storm had come on, and I was *so* mad at myself for once again reading a map backward (sigh), and missing my chance. But then all of a sudden, a ray of light broke through the clouds. Directly on the sign and the area immediately around it. I was so happy!!! People, this is the kind of luck I had all the time, in Colorado ... too many clouds? Shadow? Rain? Why, I'd just wait a moment, stand out in the splendid wide open, quietly take it all in, and soon enough, the light would change in the most wonderful way.

a try at texturing. I hardly do that. Being a graphic designer, I try to keep away from photoshop and keep thing as original as possible. I am not showing my design skills, am here for my love of photography.
Found image. I find this photograph very interesting. The woman is posed against a nicely made rustic chair - the seat is neat and the back has been carefully constructed from angled branches to create a pattern up the back and an arched rail along the top. I wonder if she made it. I assume the chair is supposed to be the star of the show so it's a pity it has been cropped.

Happy Bench Monday!
Taken while on a hike at the Konza Prairie a few weeks ago. We hiked the Kings Creek Loop Trail which is 4.4 miles. This rustic bench provided the perfect resting spot.

I think this one in particular really does look like ceramic. But nope, it's pure polymer clay.
