The area where the suspension bolts to the frame? Also rusting.

This is a 3" piece of rusted, pitted piece of iron.

Wandering around the area, photographing anything that looked interesting...

More of the rusting frame. What you can't see is that along with the surface rust (which happens where they salt the roads) is the penetrating corrosion putting holes in the frame.
