I love this photo. The rust really helps portray the abandoned feeling of this place. This is the door we broke into to get inside.

I found a dumping ground of ski-related stuff behind the main lift at Red River and took about a million photos of this fascinating place. Here are a few of them.
5/29/08: julie & i went on a crazy excursion today. my camera battery died half way thru.... which made me very very angry. i also wrecked my danskos.
today's theme turned out to be rust & bridges. and a psychedelic dandelion.

This is an art installation by Richard Serra located at the Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle, WA. Its funny that without knowing who the artist is, his pieces always draw me in.
Seen next to Barry station, the rusted remains of a derelict steam locomotive and some comparatively modern wagons. The steam loco appears to have 10 driving wheels, does that make it a 9F or does anything else in the UK have so many?

Since this was the first time I tried a semi-macro with this lil P&S, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how nicely this pictured turned out.
