IC 2944 -Running Chicken Nebula close shot.39 x 250 secs exposures totalling 2.7 hours with QHY 183 C Pro camera on Skywatcher Quattro 250P Telescope. I have never been able to see a "running chicken" anytime I see this. Other names for it are Lambda Centauri Nebula or the λ Centauri Nebula.

A deer in motion is a beautiful sight. I was walking with a heard of 20 deer at Delaware's Cape Henlopen State Park when someone slammed a car door and startled this young deer. It went racing by and back toward the forest.
North Shore Line trolley/battery motor 456 is crossing Oakton St. onto the North Shore/C&NW interchange, they left their train on the main. The building at left is still there, Crafty Beaver, Skokie Lumber. The old Oakton 'L' Station is at right, it was torn down shortly after the Skokie Swift started. A new Skokie Swift station was constructed at the same place in the 2000’s.. Taken in October 1962 by Ed DeRouin, slide in my collection.
