I think this one is a running crab spider but as always my ID skills for Spiders are not particularly good so please feel free to correct me. Arachtober 26 ;0)
I'm sure many of us have done it - running to attempt to capture a location with great light. That was the case here - had just gotten out of the car after a rain shower and spotted a small bit of rainbow close to this telephone mast. So I ran 200 metres up the hill as fast as I could as the rainbow was spreading across the sky. Assuming this was likely to be a fleeting event, I aimed my run for the spot with the best symmetry between the mast and the rainbow and took the shot, not taking the time to bother with the tripod. And it didn't last long! The low morning sunshine really helped the Red Cuillin hills in behind glow.

Como diz o Zé Martinusso, estou disfarçada de corredora. Um pouquinho, só um pouquinho mais magra, kkkkkk.
Um grande abraço para quem passar por aqui.
This narrowband image was photographed using the QHY Minicam8m. My favorite look was achieved by mapping hydrogen to red, oxygen to green and sulfur to blue.
The colors you see are not random. They represent the true chemical composition of the nebula and provide a glimpse at structures, such as the wavy flocking at right, that would otherwise be hidden from view.
A VSTP appeared this morning from Crewe to WH Davis. Always interesting to see what is going into the wagon workshops. 37218 rumbles down platform 1 working 6E28 0933 Crewe South Yard to Shirebrook Davis & Son.
The letter box crop slightly enforced by the Sony's inability to cope with the contrasting sky, or my inability to get the settings right. I thought about a replacement sky for 2 seconds. In my defence the sun was in and out.

Between Koshigoe and Enoshima Stations, the Enoden operates on a short 1/2km street running section. Generally, street running in Japan is rare, typically seen on tram/light railways like in Hiroshima, or Sapporo. The Enoden on the other hand is an interurban, which makes it an exception.
Here, the Enoden veteran, #355, eases up the street running bit bound for Fujisawa as it nears Enoshima Station.
