Sibuk... hikzz...
Sepanjang bulan ini sampai pertengahan bulan depan sungguh terlalu banyak kerjaan!
5 tugas selesai, 5 lagi masih jalan.
Sebetulnya saya kepingin cerita or ngobrol-ngobrol, tapi tidak sempat nulisnya.
Jadi maafkan saya karena belum sempat membalas comment, kiriman foto, mail, dll *boro-boro e-mail, sms saja saya sering gak sempat balas, hehe..^^;;* dari kawan-kawan tersayang.
Sungguh, semuanya saya terima dan saya baca dengan hati gembira.
Tapi apa daya, tangan saya cuma dua~
Tambahan lagi, kalau pas saya agak ada waktu luang, net-nya pas lelet banget!! Jelas saya kurang sabar!
Ya sudah lah.. apa boleh buat..
Saya pelan-pelan saja boleh, ya? ;p

Actually, I want to share a story or just chat with all of you here, but sometimes I was too tired to write it.
So forgive me my dearest friend, not yet able to reply your mail, comment, send photos back to you personally, etc. * even an sms, I often not reply back ^^::*
Really, all things that you send, I receive it happily.
But alas, my hand just two ~
Plus, if I have a little spare time, its the net work too slow! Obviously, I lack patience! ;p

My Run Wild page is from More Good Vibes Coloring Book by Thaneeya McArdie, colored with Super Tips Markers from Crayola, Gelly Roll of America gel ink pens, Prismacolor Premier Soft Core Colored Pencils and Stabilo 88 Fineliner pens, blending method of marker point to point, white pencil and added pointillism.
So, today I got up to watch the Annual London Pride 10k Run.
300 photos, and not a single image good enough.
Shame, as the 999 guys and girls running for their various charities were all wonderful.
Better luck next year.

One of the (many) things I miss about Texas is the weather. An example: Back when I was in High School in Boerne, I recall sitting on the back porch of our home in a t-shirt in 70F(21C) temps one late December evening...the following morning there was over a foot of snow on the ground.
Picture I took on our drive to Houston from San Antonio two weeks back; after we had driven through a storm that was starting to seriously hail, thus the title of this pic, as I was glad we were making distance away from the damage.
I don't think the cars behind us fared as well and probably got pelted good.

Furnace Run is mostly ice-covered beneath the Everett Covered Bridge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park on a Tuesday afternoon. The bridge is the last covered bridge left in Summit County.

My last shot from the 1970 Brighton Run - LT RTW75 (1949) at Bolney on 3/5/70.
I was to attend the Run for the next few years until 1973 when I moved to Scotland. However this didnt mean missing it as I made several trips south to attend over the years - in all I 'did' eight , the last in 1993.
Brooks Run in Elk State Forest, Cameron County PA. The stream cascades down steeply through hemlock ( at least for now) shaded hollow before it empties into the First Fork of Sinnemahoning Creek. The hemlocks along Brooks Run are badly infested with hemlock wooly adelgid (mainly at lower elevations) and many are starting to turn brown and look quite unhealthy. It seemed like every tree I checked along Brooks Run Road had at least some HWA infestation. Very sad sight to see.
I was told at a store in Nanaimo today that the herring run had started so on our way home we popped in for a quick moment as it was starting to get cloudy. We didn't see much action but the seagulls made it clear something was going on!
I ran into the redhead (her name totally escapes me; one of my failings is that I truly do forget names) but recognized her from other photos I had taken of her over the years (Cry for Dawn, Red Sonja, et al.) and she was impressed that I remembered her especially with the face mask on.
She was doing a quick photo meet-up/shoot for the movie Logan's Run. I definitely remembered this film and asked if she minded if I took some photos. Her responses was, "Yes! Please!" as not many had shown up for her meet-up and only one or two people were taking photos.
This image was taken in the area above the Food Court and we were asked to leave this area by the mall security. Which was too bad as the architecture and decorations really worked well with the Logan's Run aesthetic. Luckily, I got a couple of pics before we had to vacate.

If you usually watch my photostream you might had seen this guy before. This shot was actually taken a few minutes before run (2) but for some reason I didn't felt like posting it at the time.
Tracy Run in the Tracy Ridge Rec area of the Allegheny National Forest, McKean County PA. Taken while hiking off trail and checking for hemlock woolly adelgid in the streamside hemlocks, and in the hemlock groves that are so plentiful in the valley. Checked about 85-100 trees on this hike and am pleased to say I found no HWA.

The Blaydon Race is a 5.7 mile athletics race from Newcastle upon Tyne to Blaydon, in England, that is steeped in local tradition. It takes place on June 9th every year starting on Collingwood Street in Newcastle, heading west along Scotswood Road and finishing in Blaydon. The actual race was the inspiration for Dr James Dewar of Blaydon Harriers, who organised the first 24 races starting in 1981. In the early years, the race attracted around 250 entries and now attracts entries of 4000 plus

PARKRUN #238 - (Wycombe Rye parkrun)
Having set myself the challenge to run in under 35 minutes by my 250th parkrun, my times have slowly been slipping the wrong way, so it was a bit of a surprise to run about 2.5 minutes faster than last week. After speaking with the Clinical Exercise Physiologist at the cardiac rehab about the CI (chronotropic incompetence), I don't really expect to run a sub 35 again and my main challenge is now just to get to 250 parkruns and then review the way forward - still, not too bad for a veteran with a dicky ticker.
Distance: 5.00km
Time: 36:16 - (my overall PB remains 26:32, post Covid PB 30:31, CI PB 35:40, AFib PB 36:45)
