I miss being in the province. I miss seeing kids run around with no thoughts of how busy life can be and how busy you need to be just to earn a living.
I want to run around and think of nothing. Absolutely nothing...
Furnace Run is mostly ice-covered beneath the Everett Covered Bridge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park on a Tuesday afternoon. The bridge is the last covered bridge left in Summit County.
OMG, I such lazy cattle...
But I have forced myself to make work to new stage "Portfolio".
The task: to run, to run in the perspective, to run creatively.
U can see: O-Umi in suit of the Indian, with three chicken feathers in head, barefooted and angry. Oh, and certainly White Guards on horizon)
P.S. my English stinks.. *перехожу на олбанский*
This little piece was a commission for our id-iom's trusty construction specialist. If there's a need to install, build or otherwise use power tools then he's our go-to man. One of the things he's also interested in is diving so that was the inspiration for this little number. This picture must have confused our framer a little though as he's managed to put the string at the bottom of the picture so it hangs upside down. Luckily it will be an easy task for our construction specialist to rectify this little problem.
Cheers

An old shot of the Lego Falcon, and I just fancied like trying something out.
I did us two different exposures one for the shape of the falcon and one with a little LED bulb in the cockpit, and just masked them together. (The planet surface/background is just a photo of abit of wood blurred)
I would have liked more detail on the falcon but I kept on coming back to just having the silhouette.

Brooks Run in Elk State Forest, Cameron County PA. The stream cascades down steeply through hemlock ( at least for now) shaded hollow before it empties into the First Fork of Sinnemahoning Creek. The hemlocks along Brooks Run are badly infested with hemlock wooly adelgid (mainly at lower elevations) and many are starting to turn brown and look quite unhealthy. It seemed like every tree I checked along Brooks Run Road had at least some HWA infestation. Very sad sight to see.
