just as the morning light is establishing new patterns,

so are we establishing a new routine;

in tune with the diminishing hours of light

photobook of an employee everyday routine.

It happened to you too: you're in your bed, the alarm ringing and you think "here we are again..." then you get up and if you got stuck in the traffic jam you may think "here we are again..." or maybe you will experience a brand new scenario when a colleague of yours comes to you and ask "where are we going to eat today?"... routine... routine ...routine... in an everyday employee life!

...la mia solita pausa dopo il caffè....

I went out to shoot today. Yes it's a bit cold, yes I have plenty of work to do for my MA.

I got out to shoot for shootings sake, without constantly having my final project on my mind. I have attempted to shoot on my way to and from 'somewhere' in the last few weeks with a few descent pictures but until you go out with nothing but the intention of shooting you won't get much, at least that's my experience.

Well, I think I've got some fairly good stuff from today that I'll be posting periodically.

This is from an old part of Dalian, which has received some attention thanks to a project by Boris Austin.

Get out and shoot!

“A very slight change in our habits is sufficient to destroy our sense of our daily reality, and the reality of the world about us; the moment we pass out of our habits we lose all sense of permanency and routine.”...George Moore
