Went up to the gorge yesterday with a visiting friend, and took the opportunity to test out the now-popular rokinon/samyang 14mm. The distortion is not much of an issue if you are using lightroom profiles or PT Lens, and the sharpness is solid, though dependent on focal distance (I noticed even at f/16+, the edge sharpness depends on focal distance).
It is definitely a nice lens for the price, though it suffers a bit for shots like these since you can't use a polarizer with it.

Interesting structure, wasn't sure I liked the copper cladding as it was being built but appreciate it more now that it's completed and saw it up close.
What the world needs more of is pictures of the Farwell Building in Detroit. There's just not enough out there of the same thing over and over again. I love every single one of them.

Taken at the 2013 Concours d'Elegance at the Cedar River park in Renton, WA. We "stumbled" on this show and I wish I had taken the time to catalog models/year information. Used a Rokinon (Samyang) 14mm and LightRoom 5 for post adjustments.
