47 days. Can't wait!

Another fun MOC build &shot to put together.

I tried a few variations on this shot before settling in on this one. The starfield is a piece of sparkly paper with two flashlights shining on it.

To get the blue color, I covered the lens with a blue gel for a few seconds of the exposure, then removed it while the shutter was still open to burn in the rest of the image.

What do you think?

Today is the day for Rogue One, all. This picture is what I've been using as my iPhone wallpaper since I captured it, and now it's time to share it with you.

Oola was a green Twi'lek slavedancer in Jabba the Hutt's palace. Shortly before a disguised Leia Organa arrived with a seemingly captured Wookiee named Chewbacca, Oola performed a dance for Jabba. Enraptured, Jabba attempted to pull Oola closer to him. She struggled, and Jabba dropped her through a trapdoor, where she was eaten by his pet rancor.

set Lego 75259. A T-47 airspeeder, better known as "snowspeeder", is a Rebel Alliance vehicle featured in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and several books, comics, and video games in the Star Wars Expanded Universe and also in Atari game cartridges in the 80's. Snowspeeder models and replicas have been merchandised by several companies.

Origin and design

During production of The Empire Strikes Back, designer Joe Johnston conceived a ship that combined the body of an X-wing and the cockpit of the Y-wing.[23] However, this design was scrapped for the T-47, which featured no elements from previous craft. Johnston's designs for the Snowspeeders have influenced later Star Wars designers, such as Tommy Lee Edwards.

The models were built in three different scales by Steve Gawley, Charlie Bailey, and Mike Fulmer of ILM, with the smallest (20 inches) used for motion control photography, and the largest for hero and pyrotechnic shots. All models included motor-controlled flaps to imply maneuverability, and the largest version also possessed motor-articulated crew Several full-scale props were built in London for the hangar, cockpit, and speeder crash scenes.

Ah...It's that time of year again...Time to post the Christmas Loot!

This year's Christmas was really good! Sadly it was only my Aunt, Uncle, sister, brother in-law, and two nieces that came over because my other sister is pregnant and they didn't want to come down just incase she has the baby, so her, my other brother in-law, and my nephew didn't come. It felt a lot different without them, like something was missing, but it was still a fun time! This Christmas was special because I was finally able to get a Ps4 after so many years of wanting a gaming console. The only other console I had gotten was a Wii back in 2011 and that ran out of enjoyment and things to do pretty quick. I wanted an Xbox 360 that year, but my family didn't know, they just knew I loved playing my brother in-law's Wii and figured I would want that. I still had some great memories with that thing though, playing a bunch of Lego games and Mario Kart Wii (That was my shit), but I couldn't play any FPS or a lot of other games I wanted to play on the Wii.

Alright, anyway...So...I got the Ps4 Slim 500GB - Uncharted 4 bundle, Battlefield 1, GTA V, Battlefront Ultimate Edition (Definitely worth it now that its a complete game, unlike when it first came out), COD: Black Ops III, Destiny: The Collection, a fairly cheap Headset that was $30 (I know there are better ones, but at least this is better than the crappy one that comes with the Ps4. Also, this $30 one is actually decent, the sound and mic are pretty good!), a second controller for when friends come over (Yes...I have friends), and finally a Playstation Plus 1 year membership!

Other things I got (other than the Ps4 related things) were...The Lego Assault on Hoth set (Which is a great set, it just needed some modifications), the Ahsoka book, a Rogue One 2017 calendar, a Millennium Falcon USB Charging Cable, Chewbacca slippers that make his noises (Thank you, sister, haha), a DeathTrooper Funko Pop (Which is actually my first ever Funko Pop, if you can believe it!), a Stormtrooper Flameless LED candle, and an Imperial winter hat. Hmm...Do I like Star Wars? I wonder...lol.

Now just to let you guys know, the Ps4, the games, and the Hoth set were PARTIALLY paid for by family, but a lot of the money here in this haul was actually from what I saved up in the summer when I was cutting all those lawns due to my dad not being able to because of his broken foot. This Haul is a SUPER expensive one, and it never would've happened if I didn't have to take over my dad's neighborhood lawn business. I am extremely thankful God gave me this opportunity to earn as much money as I did.

Anyway, that's all for now! Hope all of you got some awesome things this year too! :)

The Decraniated were an order of servants produced by a fugitive surgeon using the suspected alias of "Roofoo."

At least one Decraniated served Dryden Vos aboard the First Light. Another member of the Decraniated was briefly seen in Jedha City shortly before the city was destroyed by a single-reactor superlaser blast from the newly-operational Death Star.

The Jawas are a species native to the planet Tatooine, they can also be found on planets that have Scrap such as Raxus Prime.

This species quickly learned the arts of trade to deal with humans and other races, but even knowing the basic language of the galaxy they prefer to speak in their own language called Jawes which consists of a system of screams that are difficult to understand.

These beings have a certain facility to understand the operation of technology, more specifically Robotics, and taking advantage of the fact that Tatooine is a place where many ships collide and are abandoned, they removed the parts that are useful to sell them.

They are a Gatherer species, be it scraps or droids, missing no opportunity to resell them or take away important parts to rebuild others.

The TIE/LN starfighter, or TIE/line starfighter, simply known as the TIE Fighter or T/F, was the standard Imperial starfighter seen in massive numbers throughout most of the Galactic Civil War and onward. Colloquially, Rebel and New Republic pilots referred to the craft as "eyeballs."

"It's the trooper you don't see that will get you."

―Cassian Andor

Death troopers were an elite variant of the Galactic Empire's stormtroopers designed for stealth, espionage and lethality. Operating under Imperial Intelligence, they served as protective details and bodyguards for significant Imperial officers and members of the Tarkin Initiative, as well as special-assignment commandos. They wore black suits of body armor and specialized helmets with vocal scramblers, micro-motion sensors, and heads-up displays with data on enemy and friendly positions on the battlefield. Death troopers were trained in unarmed combat, heavy weapons, demolitions, improvised weaponry, guerrilla warfare, and marksmanship. They were experts at covering their tracks, and left little to no evidence of their missions.

...The Battle of Scarif, also known as the action on Scarif, the mission to Scarif, or the raid on Scarif, was the first major battle fought in 0 BBY between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. The battle was preceded by years of attacks by the fledgling Rebel Alliance against the Empire and began the five-year period in which the Alliance successfully fought to replace the Galactic Empire with the New Republic.

Prior to the battle, Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service intercepted information suggesting that renowned scientist Galen Erso was building an Imperial superweapon capable of destroying entire planets. Alliance leadership sent Galen Erso's daughter, Jyn Erso, and Captain Cassian Andor to learn more about her father's involvement, and their subsequent efforts saw the Alliance discover the existence of the Death Star, as well as a fatal flaw in the design placed there by Galen Erso.

Though the Alliance High Command refused to openly oppose the Empire, Erso and Andor led a small unit of Rebel Marines and other allies and defied orders, taking it upon themselves to launch an incursion of the Scarif Citadel, as the rebels planned to infiltrate the heavily guarded Citadel Tower base on Scarif to retrieve the Death Star plans. Under the callsign Rogue One, the unit infiltrated Scarif's planetary shield in a stolen Zeta-class Heavy Cargo Shuttle and proceeded to wage a guerrilla assault on the Citadel's outskirts, drawing away Imperial forces so that Andor, Erso, and the droid K-2SO could infiltrate the facility. Director Orson Krennic, the former commander of the Death Star, attempted to stop Erso and Andor from stealing the plans, but the heavily outnumbered Rebels received support from the Alliance Fleet under Admiral Raddus, whose forces engaged the Imperial Star Destroyers above Scarif and worked to destroy the Shield Gate protecting the planet.

With the Shield Gate's destruction, Rogue One was able to transmit the stolen plans to the fleet above, though all remaining Rebel ground forces were eradicated by a low-powered blast from the newly arrived Death Star that destroyed the Citadel and surrounding area. The Sith Lord Darth Vader's forces made short work of the rebel ships that did not manage to retreat, but Princess Leia Organa escaped the battle in the Tantive IV; Vader pursued her to the planet Tatooine and captured her there, but the plans were already out of his reach. The plans eventually found their way to the Alliance, who used them to pinpoint the Death Star's weakness and destroy it at the Battle of Yavin.

An exoplanet is any planet beyond our solar system. Most orbit other stars, but free-floating exoplanets, called rogue planets, orbit the galactic center and are untethered to any star."

Jabba the Hutt valued money and power, and enjoyed showing off just how much he had of both. The Khetanna, his luxury sail barge, was among the crimelord’s most extravagant purchases: a massive transport that carried up to 500 passengers, maintained a crew of 26, and was outfitted with space for live music and entertainment. It was manufactured by Ubrikkian, measuring 30 meters long and equipped with a heavy blaster cannon -- an essential feature for Jabba’s lifestyle. Indeed, the craft was symbolic of Jabba’s hubris and ego, and played a large part in his downfall.

Jabba and his followers used the Khetanna to “visit” Tatooine’s Sarlacc pit, where Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Chewbacca were meant to be executed. Things did not go as planned, however. The Rebel heroes, who were sentenced to walk a plank into the Great Pit of Carkoon while Jabba and his men watched from the Khetanna, turned the tables on their captors. They decimated the gangster’s thugs, Jabba was killed by Princess Leia, and the impressive sail barge was destroyed, exploding in flames above the sands of the desert world.

The dual windscreens in 10497 gave me the idea to try to create a classic space version of my favorite Star Wars ship, the U-wing. Overall I am pretty happy with this one. I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep the functions of the U-wing but managed to get the sweeping s-foils and opening troop compartment doors (this with the addition of 2 1L axle/pins and 4 2L axle pins). All other parts come from the set. The part count comes in a little over 900. The Imperial attack force consisted of primarily AT-AT walkers, commanded by General Maximillian Veers. His army was tasked with destroying Echo Base's main power generator to allow orbital bombardment of the planet. Spearheading the defense of the generator was the elite Rogue Squadron, manning snowspeeders.

"Ever since the XP-38 came out, they just aren't in demand."

―Luke Skywalker upon selling his landspeeder.

The X-34 landspeeder was a model of civilian landspeeder manufactured by SoroSuub Corporation and available during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

X-34 landspeeders were utilized as civilian transports perfect for traveling smoothly over even the roughest terrain. For this reason, they found use in harsh desert climates, and were in operation on the planet Tatooine during the Imperial Era.

The farmboy Luke Skywalker owned an old and battered X-34 which he made extensive use of to travel through the planet's deserts, leaving the craft sand-pocked and sun-faded, and missing its portside turbine cowling. Skywalker kept the landspeeder in good working order with tinkering and careful maintenance, which proved essential in the desert environment.

He sold the landspeeder in Mos Eisley for two thousand credits after the deaths of his aunt and uncle, Beru and Owen Lars, and used the money to help pay for transport to the planet Alderaan. Around this time, following the release of the XP-38, demand for X-34s had dropped in favor of the newer model. During the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic utilized X-34 landspeeders retrofitted with blaster cannons.

So I sadly wasn't able to go at midnight last night to Toys R Us because I had a project to do for school and stayed up most of the night for that, but I did go to the Lego Store right after school today and picked up these sets! It's a shame I missed out on the free exclusive Toys R Us Funko Pop shirt and Rogue One poster, but the Lego Store had double VIP points, so I now have $20 worth on my card! I'd say that's more worth it than a couple of free Star Wars items, but I dunno...you tell me. Anyway, I bought all the Rogue One sets I was originally planning on getting. I got the Imperial Assault Hovertank, the Rebel U-Wing Fighter, and last but not least...Director Krennic's Imperial Shuttle. All of these sets are absolutely fantastic.

I worked hard this summer to earn money, having Force Friday and these sets in mind. It was such a nice feeling taking these sets off the shelves and purchasing them, knowing I worked for them. Last year, I had no money at the time when Force Friday happened and needed to borrow some from my dad just to get Rey's Speeder. I am so thankful this year was a different story. Anyway, hope you all had a great Force Friday and were able to pick up some Rogue One Merchandise! That's all for now... :)

Promotional text from the 1977 and 1978 Sticker Album and Press Kits (with promotional images, remake with Lego bricks).

------------------------

From now on, I will make images that appear in my 1977 sticker album LA GUERRA DE LAS GALAXIAS (Spanish edition).

------------------------

At the end of 1977, the Spanish publishing house Pacosa Dos Internacional acquired the rights to distribute in Spain the first sticker album related to the movie Star Wars, a film produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by 20th Century Fox a few months earlier. .

This album consisted of a total of 181 in full color and could be purchased at newsstands and grocery stores at a price of 15 pesetas. Most of these stickers were printed with a frame from the film itself, although we could also find a few in which the main actors appeared posing in the typical photographic set.

Next to each of the stickers we found the number assigned to the sticker within the collection and a small description of what the scene or character in question shows.

I hope you like them. Antonio Hidalgo

Just wondering what our objective is, Lieutenant."

"Bring peace and prosperity to the galaxy, install a regime loyal to the Emperor and eradicate the hostiles."

"It's their planet; we're the hostiles.CORPORAL HAN SOLO AND LIEUTENANT BOLANDIN DURING THE MIMBAN CAMPAIGN

The Imperial Army, also known as the Imperial Forces or Imperial ground forces, was the land-based branch of the Galactic Empire's military. As the ultimate evolution of the Grand Army of the Republic, the Imperial Army swiftly asserted dominance throughout the galaxy, making use of highly trained soldiers, mechanized walkers, and overwhelming numbers. The Imperial Army worked in tandem with the forces of the Imperial Navy, relying on the numerous fleets to transport legions of troopers across the far reaches of the galaxy. The most common soldiers of the Empire's ground forces were known as Imperial Army troopers, the core infantry of the army tasked with establishing Imperial regimes and pacifying troublesome worlds. As the Imperials reinforced their grip on the galaxy, these units were gradually phased out in favor of stormtroopers, elite shock troops fanatically loyal to the Emperor himself.

"The shield is down. Commence attack on the Death Star's main reactor."

―Admiral Gial Ackbar to the Alliance Fleet during the Battle of Endor

The Death Star's shield generator was an Imperial military installation on Endor during the Galactic Civil War. The facility housed the generator that powered the SLD-26 planetary shield generator protecting the Death Star II, which was being constructed in orbit of the forest moon. The base was guarded by a garrison of stormtroopers, scout troopers, Imperial fleet troopers and other Imperial officers, along with a complement of AT-ST's and AT-AT's. It was under the command of Colonel Dyer, Commander Igar, and Major Hewex.

During the Battle of Endor, a Rebel strike team led by General Han Solo infiltrated the bunker that housed the Imperial shield facility and destroyed it. This lowered the shields on the orbiting Death Star, allowing the Alliance Fleet to destroy the battle station.

This creation is based on both Star Wars: Rogue One movie and Battlefront 2015 game. I tried my best to capture the epic combat on the sandy beaches of Scarif as accurately as possible and honestly, I think it turned out pretty awesome. Building this MOC was a lot of fun for me, especially because the Battle of Scarif is one of my favourite parts of the entire Star Wars saga. What do you think? Hope you also like this build!

"Are you Mandalorian?"

"I'm a simple man making his way through the galaxy. Like my father before me."

―Din Djarin and Boba Fett

Boba Fett was the unaltered clone of Jango Fett, a human male Mandalorian bounty hunter who raised Boba as his son during the Republic Era. Fett emulated his genetic donor, whom he regarded as his father, by wearing a customized suit of Mandalorian armor. His personal starship was Slave I, a Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft that once belonged to Jango. Trained in combat and martial skills from a young age, Fett was one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy during the Imperial Era. He became a legend over the course of his career, which included contracts for both the Galactic Empire and the extensive criminal underworld.

"She was left for dead on the sands of Tatooine, as was I. But fate sometimes steps in to rescue the wretched."

―Boba Fett, on his and Fennec Shand's survival

Fett survived his fall into the sarlacc, though he was quickly separated from his armor, which was found by Jawas and later acquired by the Tatooinian sheriff Cobb Vanth. At some point Fett acquired a gaderffii stick and cycler rifle.Though a number of rumors about his fate circulated, Fett was presumed dead due to his fall into the sarlacc.
