The dual windscreens in 10497 gave me the idea to try to create a classic space version of my favorite Star Wars ship, the U-wing. Overall I am pretty happy with this one. I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep the functions of the U-wing but managed to get the sweeping s-foils and opening troop compartment doors (this with the addition of 2 1L axle/pins and 4 2L axle pins). All other parts come from the set. The part count comes in a little over 900. "Ever since the XP-38 came out, they just aren't in demand."

―Luke Skywalker upon selling his X-34 landspeeder to Wioslea

Imperial modification of the XP-34/38.

The X-34 was an open-air/sealed cockpit civilian landspeeder manufactured by SoroSuub Corporation. One famous owner was Luke Skywalker.

Durable if not stylish, the X-34 featured holographic displays, a computer for ground navigation, and a number of repulsor counterbalances for smooth and steady travel over rough terrain. Its maximum altitude was 1 meter (100 cm), but its usual cruising altitude was roughly 10 cm above ground level. It utilized three turbine engines to propel the vehicle forward. Its repulsorfield generator housing was located behind the cockpit. Its power circuit was located in front of the cockpit.

The X-34 retailed for roughly 10,550 credits new, 2,500 used. It was light and unarmored and lacked weapon mounts, making it unsuitable for military applications, unlike the Flash speeder or the Rebel combat speeder, also manufactured by SoroSuub.

The open-air landspeeder could be piloted through the use of a steering wheel and foot pedals, and featured a retractable duraplex windscreen. In addition, the vehicle cockpit featured holographic displays as well as a computer for ground navigation.

Dedicated to the actress Gina Carano, be strong and don't give up.

"...In December 2018, she was announced as part of the cast of The Mandalorian, Lucasfilm's first live-action Star Wars television series. She portrayed the character CARA DUNE with a first appearance in the fourth episode of the first season titled "Chapter 4: Sanctuary". Carano initially believed she would be playing the role of a female Wookiee, and was surprised to "find that [she] was one of the few people that you were actually going to see her face." She played the role in seasons 1 and 2.

On February 12, 2021, two days after Carano was ousted from Lucasfilm (DISNEY) for controversial social media posts.."

"AT-ST."

"Imperial walker. What's it doing here?"

"I don't know."

―Cara Dune and Din Djarin discovering AT-ST footprints

"So what happens if you take that thing off? They come after you and kill you?"

"No. You just can't ever put it back on again."

"That's it?"

―Cara Dune and Din Djarin

About:

Carasynthia "Cara" Dune was a human female Alderaanian who served as a shock trooper in the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the New Republic during the Galactic Civil War. A seasoned warrior, she was an intimidating brawler and a crack shot. By 9 ABY, Dune had put her days of military discipline behind her to operate as a mercenary. After spending time on the planet Sorgan, she met the bounty hunter Din Djarin and his companion and worked with him for a short time before Djarin departed Sorgan. Eventually, Djarin returned to enlist Dune to help him combat an Imperial remnant on Nevarro. After their mission, Dune stayed on Nevarro to work with Djarin's former employer Greef Karga. Eventually, she was assigned as Marshal of Nevarro by the New Republic.

Sheriff Cobb Vanth set out to liberate the town of Mos Pelgo after it was conquered by the Mining Collective.

Equipped with a set of Mandalorian armor (Boba Fett ) he acquired from a group of Jawas, Vanth entered the town and made short work of the entire occupying force, including downing a team of enforcers who tried to flee aboard a landspeeder using a missile.

"Stardust. That's it... I know because it's me." - Jyn Erso

Jyn locates the Death Star plans, with help from Cassian and K-2SO. K2 locks Jyn and Cassian into the data vault and fends-off several stormtroopers, before being destroyed. The pair climb the data vault and retrieve the file, but are ambushed by Director Krennic. Jyn climbs out of sight, but Cassian is hit and falls some distance.

the things I did is I put a real cape for him and I made a custom backpack piece just for him by gluing the clip for the little tube and the ammo chains and paint a little detail on the tile

Inspired by a Rogue One rewatch, these are just heavily modified versions of the official figs.

You can download the FREE instructions for this MOC and my other projects here.

The instructions are done but for a better annoucement I prefer waiting for the full release of the pictures I took, but editing take time. I should be done this week, And let's start by the one I don't have to edit, the crew.

Expect the FREE instructions Friday.

"My lord, the fleet has moved out of lightspeed. Com-scan has detected an energy field protecting an area of the sixth planet of the Hoth system. The field is strong enough to deflect any bombardment."

"The Rebels are alerted to our presence. Admiral Ozzel came out of lightspeed too close to the system."

"He...He felt surprise was wiser—"

"He is as clumsy as he is stupid. General, prepare your troops for a surface attack."

"Yes, my Lord."

―General Maximillian Veers and Darth Vader

The Imperial attack force consisted of primarily AT-AT walkers, commanded by General Maximilian Veers. His army was tasked with destroying Echo Base's main power generator to allow orbital bombardment of the planet and for Darth Vader to land on the planet. Spearheading the defense of the generator was Rogue Squadron, manning snowspeeders, commanded by Luke Skywalker, renowned for being the pilot who destroyed the first Death Star.

The snowspeeders however did not have the necessary firepower to bring down the walkers, so Skywalker suggested an alternative tactic to trip up the walkers with the tow cables issued to every snowspeeder.

Despite the efforts by Rogue Squadron, the power generator was eventually destroyed by Veers' main AT-AT. The remaining base personnel proceeded to evacuate, as the 501st Legion, led by Darth Vader, entered the base.

The overwhelming Imperial invasion forced the Rebellion to scatter the Alliance Fleet across the galaxy, leading to a multitude of scattered skirmishes across the galaxy for over six months before the Empire's sudden and crushing defeat at the Battle of Endor.

"Despite protecting yourself in the trenches, during darkness it is important to keep an eye on the entire area." -General

Trench warfare was a type of surface warfare in which opposing infantries attacked, counterattacked, and defended from networks of trenches dug into the ground.

Prolonged exposure of the soldiers' feet to damp, unsanitary, and cold conditions could lead to the medical condition known as "trench foot." Because Mimban's dense and ionized atmosphere made air support difficult, the Imperial campaign against the Mimbanese Liberation Army was largely carried out by entrenched troops.

The Rebel Alliance also utilized trenches on their base at Crait and at Echo Base on Hoth.

The Troopers on Hoth wore a white or beige shirt and pants, along with matching tan and white caps with ear flaps, and could carry goggles when necessary. Troopers in the field and not in the safety of Echo Base often wore a similar variant as those in the hangar but instead had more of a white and grey coloring, along with white Alliance Cold Weather Backpacks

Several years ago I made posters of my Star Wars spaceships. I used the exact same layout for Lego versions of the same nature. It's been a while since I last made these but today I added a new one to the series.

The TIE Striker is easily my favourite Star Wars spaceship design outside the original trilogy. It works really well in Lego too, the model is pretty as a peach. It's amazing how these just keep giving.

The winters here are so dark even these things need a flashlight to see where they're going when they enter the woods. Why would they enter the woods in the winter is beyond me.

From the archives, it's not winter anymore, it's summer and it’s quite lovely.

I have a new finished scale model on the table ready for the camera but I can’t figure out how to photograph it. So, to avoid the challenge, I’m playing with leftover images from a ”projects” folder.

The Futuristic Look some 20 years ago…

Designed by Sir Norman Foster and opened in 1999, Canary Wharf is a London Underground station at Canary Wharf and is on the Jubilee line, between Canada Water and North Greenwich stations. Over 40 million people pass through the station each year, making it second busiest on the London Underground outside Central London after Stratford, and also the busiest that serves only a single line.

Interestingly some scenes for 2016’s "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" were filmed at this underground station during the hours when the line was closed to the public, from mid-night to 4am.

Taken obviously during the non rush hours:-)

Another fun MOC build &shot to put together.

I tried a few variations on this shot before settling in on this one. The starfield is a piece of sparkly paper with two flashlights shining on it.

To get the blue color, I covered the lens with a blue gel for a few seconds of the exposure, then removed it while the shutter was still open to burn in the rest of the image.

What do you think?

27/12/2016 R.I.P. Carrie Fisher, actress best known as Star Wars' Princess Leia.

Oola was a green Twi'lek slavedancer in Jabba the Hutt's palace. Shortly before a disguised Leia Organa arrived with a seemingly captured Wookiee named Chewbacca, Oola performed a dance for Jabba. Enraptured, Jabba attempted to pull Oola closer to him. She struggled, and Jabba dropped her through a trapdoor, where she was eaten by his pet rancor.

Today is the day for Rogue One, all. This picture is what I've been using as my iPhone wallpaper since I captured it, and now it's time to share it with you.

Lego Star Wars Rogue One Beach Troopers

set Lego 75259. A T-47 airspeeder, better known as "snowspeeder", is a Rebel Alliance vehicle featured in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and several books, comics, and video games in the Star Wars Expanded Universe and also in Atari game cartridges in the 80's. Snowspeeder models and replicas have been merchandised by several companies.

Origin and design

During production of The Empire Strikes Back, designer Joe Johnston conceived a ship that combined the body of an X-wing and the cockpit of the Y-wing.[23] However, this design was scrapped for the T-47, which featured no elements from previous craft. Johnston's designs for the Snowspeeders have influenced later Star Wars designers, such as Tommy Lee Edwards.

The models were built in three different scales by Steve Gawley, Charlie Bailey, and Mike Fulmer of ILM, with the smallest (20 inches) used for motion control photography, and the largest for hero and pyrotechnic shots. All models included motor-controlled flaps to imply maneuverability, and the largest version also possessed motor-articulated crew Several full-scale props were built in London for the hangar, cockpit, and speeder crash scenes.

Ah...It's that time of year again...Time to post the Christmas Loot!

This year's Christmas was really good! Sadly it was only my Aunt, Uncle, sister, brother in-law, and two nieces that came over because my other sister is pregnant and they didn't want to come down just incase she has the baby, so her, my other brother in-law, and my nephew didn't come. It felt a lot different without them, like something was missing, but it was still a fun time! This Christmas was special because I was finally able to get a Ps4 after so many years of wanting a gaming console. The only other console I had gotten was a Wii back in 2011 and that ran out of enjoyment and things to do pretty quick. I wanted an Xbox 360 that year, but my family didn't know, they just knew I loved playing my brother in-law's Wii and figured I would want that. I still had some great memories with that thing though, playing a bunch of Lego games and Mario Kart Wii (That was my shit), but I couldn't play any FPS or a lot of other games I wanted to play on the Wii.

Alright, anyway...So...I got the Ps4 Slim 500GB - Uncharted 4 bundle, Battlefield 1, GTA V, Battlefront Ultimate Edition (Definitely worth it now that its a complete game, unlike when it first came out), COD: Black Ops III, Destiny: The Collection, a fairly cheap Headset that was $30 (I know there are better ones, but at least this is better than the crappy one that comes with the Ps4. Also, this $30 one is actually decent, the sound and mic are pretty good!), a second controller for when friends come over (Yes...I have friends), and finally a Playstation Plus 1 year membership!

Other things I got (other than the Ps4 related things) were...The Lego Assault on Hoth set (Which is a great set, it just needed some modifications), the Ahsoka book, a Rogue One 2017 calendar, a Millennium Falcon USB Charging Cable, Chewbacca slippers that make his noises (Thank you, sister, haha), a DeathTrooper Funko Pop (Which is actually my first ever Funko Pop, if you can believe it!), a Stormtrooper Flameless LED candle, and an Imperial winter hat. Hmm...Do I like Star Wars? I wonder...lol.

Now just to let you guys know, the Ps4, the games, and the Hoth set were PARTIALLY paid for by family, but a lot of the money here in this haul was actually from what I saved up in the summer when I was cutting all those lawns due to my dad not being able to because of his broken foot. This Haul is a SUPER expensive one, and it never would've happened if I didn't have to take over my dad's neighborhood lawn business. I am extremely thankful God gave me this opportunity to earn as much money as I did.

Anyway, that's all for now! Hope all of you got some awesome things this year too! :)

The Decraniated were an order of servants produced by a fugitive surgeon using the suspected alias of "Roofoo."

At least one Decraniated served Dryden Vos aboard the First Light. Another member of the Decraniated was briefly seen in Jedha City shortly before the city was destroyed by a single-reactor superlaser blast from the newly-operational Death Star.

To be continued ...

The Jawas are a species native to the planet Tatooine, they can also be found on planets that have Scrap such as Raxus Prime.

This species quickly learned the arts of trade to deal with humans and other races, but even knowing the basic language of the galaxy they prefer to speak in their own language called Jawes which consists of a system of screams that are difficult to understand.

These beings have a certain facility to understand the operation of technology, more specifically Robotics, and taking advantage of the fact that Tatooine is a place where many ships collide and are abandoned, they removed the parts that are useful to sell them.

They are a Gatherer species, be it scraps or droids, missing no opportunity to resell them or take away important parts to rebuild others.

The TIE/LN starfighter, or TIE/line starfighter, simply known as the TIE Fighter or T/F, was the standard Imperial starfighter seen in massive numbers throughout most of the Galactic Civil War and onward. Colloquially, Rebel and New Republic pilots referred to the craft as "eyeballs."
