I have to cover my rocking chair with an old towel (it has my name on it and was made on the machine right in front of me, but I never like it) since she started to scratch on the back rest twice.

The old terminal at National is now a pretty quiet place, as you might guess from the rocking chairs with a runway view.

The Charleston Tea Plantation is on Wadmalaw Island, about 30 minutes away from downtown. Pardon the blurry picture.

Part of my American Rocker series about people who own rocking chairs (I'm not kidding -- www.kylecassidy.com/americanrocker) this was lit with ambient window light for the room plus a medium umbrella about 3 feet from the subject with an sb800 triggered with an ebay wireless from a nikon d200. the flash was set about two stops over the room light. the lens was a tokina 28-80.

Not only did Abigail sit in this chair, she also used it as a walker. She didn't go too far, but she did go.

A vintage radio and an old rocking chair decorate a small house on the countryside of Vinales.
