This was one of my "get rich quick" schemes from 30 years ago!!

It's a miniature rocking chair/money box . It was about 9 inches tall and I made it out of mahogany.

The idea was to sell them to the American tourists visiting the Yorkshire Dales where I used to live.

A friend of mine sold quite a few but I just couldn't be bothered to make anymore!

I have to cover my rocking chair with an old towel (it has my name on it and was made on the machine right in front of me, but I never like it) since she started to scratch on the back rest twice.

The old terminal at National is now a pretty quiet place, as you might guess from the rocking chairs with a runway view.

A porch at a reconstructed cottage at the Largo Heritage Village. Bliss. Just avoid going down with yellow fever and survive the odd hurricane.

Not only did Abigail sit in this chair, she also used it as a walker. She didn't go too far, but she did go.

Cubans claim the invention of the rocking chair, some say it even influenced the rythm in their music... that's stuff for historians to find out, I only know it's omnipresent in all houses along Cuba and it's a divine relaxing furniture.
