On evenings when the tide is low in Hillsborough Bay one is apt to see the Rock Troll of Ballast Point cutting his path across the shallows. You can barely make out the silhouette of his head, cap, beard and shoulders emerging from the surface of the waters. Sometimes as he walks against the flow of the water he appears to be standing in place and not moving at all. Have you seen the troll? If so, why not share your photos of him as well.

A Dream Come True...
Last night I dreamed about meeting Corgan and spending a week with him. The whole dream, all I wanted was my picture taken with him, but it never happened. So here it is, the desired picture of my dream.
***NOTE: The picture of Billy Corgan is NOT my own. I can't figure out where the original picture is from since no one is giving credit to the original photographer, so here I state that I claim no ownership of Billy, only this manipulation. And that is the closest I'll get to owning any Billy. :)

The trek to Ella Rock is one of the most rewarding experiences you can live in Sri Lanka. Walking on the rail road, running away from the touts, passing through tea fields and an extenuating climb are some of the challenges you have to face before reaching its peak.

This is Tororo Rock in Uganda just over the boder from Kenya my dad was stationed here with the army at the end of WW". They were training to be sent to the Pacific so they were all relieved when VJ came. To celebrate he bult a beacon at the top of the rock.

This is one of those barns that I got to somewhat late in the day and it didn't show up too well. I can't even determine all that it says on the roof. But alas, I took this photo 5 years ago and I haven't been back since, so at some point I need to upload what I have. It's facing southbound traffic on US62 about five miles north of Cynthiana in Harrison County, KY.
Wile I want to take a better photo of it someday, it is still another one to add to my online collection. This is the 75th different Rock City barn I have posted to flickr in my Rock City Barns set.

Strange and peculiar kind rock formations are found near village Moti Virani, Tal. Nakhatrana, Dist. Kachchh (Gujarat). Riverbed is made of rock instead of sand as usually happens.
Large rock deposited by a retreating Glacier during the Ice Age 10,000 years ago, unlike the surrounding rock and left perfectly balanced as you see it here. Known locally as the Balance Rock, geologists estimate it travelled 40 miles in a northwest to southeast direction and deposited by the Glacier here at Bar Harbor, Maine.
