I was at Point Lobos last weekend taking pictures with a friend. I took several pictures of this rock pile with an HDR in mind. Then my friend took my camera and took this shot. I liked the composition better than any of the shots I took, so I took this single photograph and created two more versions of it in PS, one over exposed and one under exposed, threw all three in to Photomatix and this was the result.

Had to use the healing tool on this one. Bloody dirt on my polariser. Bah humbug I had a load of shots that were ruined.

On the way back from Madan Mahal, a fort build by Gond Raja Madan Shah, on a top of rocky hill in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh one can see this rock formation.Madan Mahal fort in Jabalpur dominates the skyline and provides a panoramic view of the town and the country side around it.
One can see numerous rock formations around Madan Mahal but one which attracts attention at an exit if Madan Mahal at the mountain is ‘Balancing rock’ . Balancing rock is an independent rock balancing over another rock, wikipedia calls it as an eroded volcanic rock formation.
4th of July weekend, 2009.
We stopped at the Splash Festival in Abracadabradeen, too. Sophie & Nels had a go at the rock climbing wall, but poor Nels was distraught when his turn was over & he hadn't reached the top. So we went & had ice cream.
Did this close to three years ago. It has all the Rock Raiders sets I had at the time, plus some MOCs and custom minifigs.

Rock climbers Joseph Healy and Bill Coe work to clear the top of Beacon Rock's SE Corner of loose and dangerous rocks before the area can be opened to the public for climbing.
So, as always trying different things. First went backstage during a rock show and then took a shot down. Hope it is good.

Pinnacle of rock at Trefil Quarry which gives some idea as to why locals call it a miniature 'Monument Valley'.
On the corner of Eagle Rock Blvd. and Yosemite Drive in 1985. There is much classic Eagle Rock to be seen here. The Eagle Theatre is on the corner. Signs for KFC (now replaced by Burger King) and Eagle Rock Lumber can be seen further up Eagle Rock Blvd. The California Federal S&L building still says California Federal. I like the TV-Stereo Repair sign, too. Note banner for the Eagle Rock Celebration. The lady to the right is Eleanor Barlow, my aunt.
