This is actually one from the yately common day. Lacked motivation the last few days so took it from them.
This robin was following me around the whole time i was there. I stared off at the lake and while taking the shots this robin got closer and closer. When i finally noticed him he was less than 1 foot away. Needless to say he flew away when i turned to get a photo of him. This is about 10 mins after shooting at the lake,
Mr Robin redbreast, well I'm guessing it's Mr.
Anyone know how to tell the difference between Mr & Mrs ???

Looking for breakfast...I wanted to get her feet in the image too but s/he didn't stay there long enough for me to correct my focus by backing up - I had my long lens on and was at the minimum. Taken through my bedroom window.
The streaks you see in the background are raindrops, the red is the Japanese Maple Coral Bark tree bare branches.
Ken made this puzzle from a National Wildlife Federation month-by-month calendar-holiday greeting depicting the state birds of the thirteen original colonies. This was the first puzzle he ever gave me. E is for Erickson.
