Robin after the battle with another over territory

One if not the most popular garden visitors. Its distinctive red breast makes the Robin easy to identify, Lovely song bird, very territorial, very little difference between males and females.

This is actually one from the yately common day. Lacked motivation the last few days so took it from them.

 

This robin was following me around the whole time i was there. I stared off at the lake and while taking the shots this robin got closer and closer. When i finally noticed him he was less than 1 foot away. Needless to say he flew away when i turned to get a photo of him. This is about 10 mins after shooting at the lake,
