A new prop in the garden but this bird looks a bit scruffy, hope its not the bird that lost its feathers around this time for last 2 years

Robin enjoying being photgraphed

I'd have to say I think this is my best bird shot yet. The only thing I don't like is that its head is in shadow. But I won't complain!

Came across this tame Robin at WWT Slimbridge yesterday afternoon. Couldn't resist taking some shots while it posed nicely nearby on a post in the afternoon light. It did become a little wary when I moved closer but didn't seem to mind me sitting down and take shots from a few feet away. This was one of the best I got :-)

This little guy was hopping around a birch tree in the courtyard at Benmore Botanic Garden. He was so tame; at one point he was too close to focus on. Apparently he pecked a colleague's shoe, so don't be deceived by his cute looks!

Please see local birds and wildlife set www.flickr.com/photos/wendycoops224/sets/72157626318048414/ This fellow and another were duelling it out by song, across the footpath from one another. As he was happy to pose, I took advantage & have rather a lot of keepers (there will b more to follow over the next few days)

Looking sweet and curious.

This little Robin lives in the hedgerow opposite where I wait for the Buzzards to return from their evening hunt. He used to tick-tick away at me, warning me off his patch. But he doesn't anymore, which I think is really sweet. He just perches there, really close to me, and watches me watching.
