Been busy so here's one I made earlier.

But fails to sort out the difficult lighting for me.

I was hoping for some sparrows or a blackcap or finch maybe.

the sparrows turned up and hid behind the branches, apart from the resident doves, a blackbird and some jackdaws, nothing else showed up.

I could not believe this photo opportunity today, This little chap came and perched right next to me,

The female robin who visits regularly. One of a pair who will hopefully nest in my garden.

Please do not use without my written permission. Thank you.

A few more Robins before I move on to something different.

One of a series of photos taken in the garden in the snow today. Bit of a typical winter scene this.

I couldn’t leave out our Friendly Robin.. who we have been feeding throughout the Winter months when she was finding it difficult to find food in the snow. We set up a feeder in the garden and made sure there was always food available for the birds.. The Blackbird and the Robin got used to feeding times and would pop up on the fence whenever we went out to the feeding table.. They both appeared to have nests just on the other side of our garden fence where there are some big trees. ..They always had their special treat.. cheese.. which they love !!

These pictures were taken just before Robin had her babies, which are now running about the garden .. Although Mum is still a little unsure of us getting too close to her babies…

Sometimes Robin get’s impatient waiting for her special treat of cheese, so flies down to the decking area next to the house and waits until we fed her..

This pretty little Robin has built the most perfect nest on my pool fence. I am worried as many nights we wake up to the neighbourhood cats fighting on our deck. Her little babies won't have a chance I don't know if I should move it or just let nature be? Hopefully she will realize before she lays her eggs.
