I thought abought the beehive springs but I liked the idea of a dual spring incase one breaks the other spring will hopefully prevent it from dropping a valve. The inner spring is removed in this photo for cam break-in.

Keep your #retainer soaking when it is not in your mouth. Use a mouthwash rinse or denture cleaning agent to freshen it up and keep it free of bacteria.

Here they are. The new little pieces of plastic that'll be holding my freshly freed teeth in place. I hate the idea of wearing these till the day I die. I wish they could master/create a way that after you get your braces off that you could magically take or do something that would strap them down and hold'm in place. For now however.... I got these.

Don't try this at home, but DO keep retainers clean, but also keep them fitting well, so always clean them in cold water. You don't even need to use tooth paste, but you might want to use a special brace cleaning tablet.
Just ask your orthodontist for advice, or check my blog for more info (thatfriendlyorthodontist.com)
Her new retainers/ invisible braces to straighten her teeth without having the typical "metal mouth" :) SHE LOVES THEM! They snap in and snap out for eating. Modern day orthodontics! Great!!
Upon entering the Kinokuniya Inn in the Tōkaidō post town of Arai, visitors are greeted by a bowing figure of Fukusuke (福助). Fukusuke is traditional Edo Period good luck charm that was believed would bring fortune and prosperity to shops and inns.
The Kinokuniya Hatago (Inn) isn’t certain when it first started business— the records aren’t very clear. The original owner was from Kishū and moved to the Arai post-town early in the Edo period and operated a teahouse. Somewhere along the way, the teahouse business morphed into an inn. It is known that in 1703, Kinokuniya was often used as an inn by retainers from Kishū—back in the old days, Japan was made up of about 200 different domains, each of which was like a principality not unlike Europe during its feudal days. Therefore, Japanese during the Edo period were somewhat clannish and tended to want to associate with places that had connections to their native domains. As for Kishū, it was one of the most powerful feudal domains during the Edo Period (1602-1868) and its hereditary daimyo was from a collateral branch of the Tokugawa family, making the daimyo a blood relative of the Tokugawa line of shoguns.
In the late Edo Period, the Kinokuniya was a one-story building with 12 rooms and 2 larger Japanese-style multi-purpose rooms. Unfortunately the original building burnt down in 1874 and was re-built in a traditional Edo-Period style, but this time as a two-storied building. So…the Kinokuniya is really an Edo Period-style building from the Meiji Period. Make sense? Hope so!

Kishiwada Castle, located in Osaka, was built by Koide Hidemasa, a retainer of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, in 1582, near the site of where Kusunoki Masashige built a fort in the 1300s. In 1640, ownership of the castle was transferred to Okabe Norikatsu and the Okabe family maintained possession of the castle and the Kishiwada fief until the Meiji Restoration in 1868.
In 1827 lightning destroyed the castle’s main keep and much of the remaining part of the castle was destroyed during the fighting between the Tokugawa and Imperial forces during the civil strife associated with the Meiji Restoration. The current three-story ferroconcrete keep was built in 1954, but it has been confirmed that the original donjon was 5 stories. The moat and the outer stone walls are all that remain of the original castle. All other structures, including the gate, are reconstructions.
The renowned garden designer, Mirei Shigemori, constructed the Hachi Jin no Niwa rock garden in 1953 using chlorite schist from Okinoshima Island in Wakayama Prefecture and white sand from the Shirakawa River in Kyoto. He personally chose all the larger stones and arranged the garden based on the Chinese concept of the battle formation of the eight elements of heaven: earth, wind, clouds, dragons, tigers, birds and snakes.

That's what it is: A mounting retainer (is that the right wording?) for a cable release for the Pentax. ... You see, the Pentax has an IR port, and I got a cheap IR remote, but that one actually won't trigger the exposition bracket shots. So I bought this "universal cable release" that was supposed to be held in place with a velcro tape – which doesn't work at all and blocks pretty much all camera controls.
