Ted spends a restless night tossing and turning. He can't help feeling that the other Troopers don't like him too much. “They're just jealous of my armor” he thinks.

I finally had the chance to shoot with Paige at one of our small group shoots. Fun young lady - good attitude, the cameras loved her, with a girl next door natural beauty. It was a bit windy at the shoot so we had some wild hair going but it was worth it. I hope there are future shoots in store with Paige - she was a blast to work with. Again, thanks to Ron for letting us use his Harley. I took these photos in May 2020.

Therefore, on every morrow, are we wreathing

A flowery band to bind us to the earth,

Spite of despondence, of the inhuman dearth

Of noble natures, of the gloomy days,

Of all the unhealthy and o’er-darkened ways

Made for our searching: yes, in spite of all,

Some shape of beauty moves away the pall

From our dark spirits. Such the sun, the moon,

Trees old and young, sprouting a shady boon

Unconfirmed Polydesmus angustus

Polydesmidae species are all fairly similar in appearance, and like a lot of invertebrates, it takes looking at the reproductive organs to actually be able to reliably identify the species.

Polydesmus angustus are seen to display an off white set of legs, so I am hoping that my identification is correct.

Spring cleaning in the garden, allowed us to uncover some real treasures.

Somebody take the pain away

It's like an ulcer bleeding in my brain

So send me to the pharmacy so I can lose my memory

ver the past 3 years I have been meaning to visit this unique location in spring for its annual bloom of bluebells.

High winds and dotted skies made the entire shoot a gambling game, on the way to another spot I saw the clouds break momentarily and got one shot before the light disappeared. Goes to show having your equipment ready to go at all times pays off.

The fishing boat, Restless, in the breachway at the Port of Galilee in Narragansett, RI.

Nothing to do but scuff down

the graveyard road behind the playground,

past the name-stones lined up in rows

beneath their guardian pines,

on out into the long, low waves of plains

that dissolved time. We'd angle off

from fence and telephone line, through

ribbon-grass that closed behind as though

we'd never been, and drift toward the bluff

above the river-bend where the junked pickup

moored with its load of locust-skeletons.

Stretched across the blistered hood, we let

our dresses catch the wind while clouds above

dimmed their pink to purple, then shadow-blue—

So slow, we listened to our own bones grow.

L'idea di partenza era quella di rivisitare questa foto.... www.flickr.com/photos/moon_y/2621480708/ scattata da me tantissimo tempo fa...

...e alla fine...questo è il risultato...

It wasn't easy getting a composition I was happy with on these rocks but I wanted that water rushing through and pouring over the rock tables. eventually I settled on this, though I'd be happier a little more to my right but no way that was happening. Not without a good and proper soaking anyway.
