Not as robust as I was expecting.

It's accessible by a ladder. That's what keeps the animals out.

This was at the last rest area eastbound on A-40 into Quebec city.

I love the crisp, functional typography used by the Washington DoT on their signs. Helvetica used to good effect.

Also home to a geocache called Duder's Gone.

I 90 eastbound rest area near Spearfish SD

View west from the Welcome Center shows the Earthen Tioga Dam and outflow into the Tioga River. The Corps of Engineers cut a flow through between the two lakes to allow reservoir balancing.

11/5/2018 -- Leafy rest area along I-5 in Oregon.

We are still in Texas. Texas has the best rest stops. I'd missed getting shots of the rest area with oil derricks over the picnic tables.

Oregon usually has good rest stops, but I'm not too sure about this one. Would have tried it out, but after the rains I think it might have been a bit soggy.
