Photograph taken at an altitude of Sixty one metres at 12:58pm on Friday 24th July 2020, of a juvenile Blackbird (Turdus Merula),off Chessington Avenue in Bexleyheath, Kent.
The little cutie was clearly a very young bird, one of his parents in close attendance in the bush next to the feeder, teaching the youngster how to get food from a seed feeder tray.

Here we see, Sciurus Carolinensis (Eastern Gray Squirrel or Grey Squirrel), a tree squirrel native to North America and first introduced to the UK in the 1870's. Though it was largely responsible for the decimation of our own native red squirrel population, those are now on the increase and found in certain parts of the UK including Scotland. The Greys are still an ecologically essential natural forester regenerator.

My heroes are those who risk their lives every day to protect our world and make it a better place - police, firefighters and members of our armed forces
Pancake has respect for these. This pretty tractor was seen sunning itself enroute to/from Florida. Possibly just "away from".
The elderly, the old, the seniors, by whatever name we refer to them, respect lies in the class they belong to. Such is the beauty of this so called society that we belong to, the sad truth, the salutation of peace, the Salam, would not even be bestowed upon them because they are poor. The times we live in, how we have become tangled in this gruesome web.
With arms reversed, a member of the Canadian military stands beside a wreath laid by one of today's twi silver cross mothers in Hamilton.
I have often visited the little fishing village of Avoch, pronounced “Och” by most of the locals it is a quiet little place with quite a lot of houses along the shore. I came to look at the Church out of curiosity, in the hope of finding something unusual. For me to discover that Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Mackenzie River, Canada, was buried here was quite remarkable. The Church itself is of a classic yet unusual style, with a side arch. The steeple is very high with a weather vein at the top, it has a bell tower and because it is surrounded by grave stones requires a good deal of respect. There is a plaque for Sir Alexander Mackenzie which reads thus;
“In mid July 1789 Alexander Mackenzie reached the shores of the Artic Ocean from Fort Chipewyan on Lake Athabasca, having traversed the great river that now bears his name. He returned safely on 12th September, after having travelled by canoe more than 3,000 miles in 102 days, assisted by friendly Indians and propelled by four French-Canadian voyageurs. In 1792 he left Fort Chipewyan again, wintered on Peace River and, once more guided by Indians reached the Pacific Ocean at Bella Coola on the 22nd July 1793, the first explorer to cross the continent. He returned to Fort Chipewyan with all his party”.
The inscription on the stone reads thus:
“In memory of Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Avoch
The Explorer of the North West of America
And discoverer of the Mackenzie River
Died 12th March 1820
And Lady Geddes Mackenzie of Avoch
His widow died 7th July 1860”.
“From the lone shieling of the misty island,
Mountains divide us and the waste of seas,
But still the blood is strong, the heart is highland,
And we in dreams behold the Hebrides”.
„I respect all German people. You are so good.“
„I respect all German people. You are so good.“
Alban, sei herzlich willkommen in Deutschland. Deine Offenheit und Freundschaft haben mich heute sehr berührt. Danke, dass es Dich gibt. Friede mit Dir.

This circular iron gate, the Moon Gate, is at MacCallum More Museum and Gardens in Chase City, Virginia. It is a replica of a gate found in New Orleans, Louisiana. Added to Explore 30 Apr 2011 at #385!
The museum and gardens are part of the MacCallum More and Hudgins House Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places #09001051. The following information is quoted from the NRHP nomination form prepared by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources ((DHR # 186-5020)
“MacCallum More is a six-acre property that includes the house, a guest cottage, a museum, and extensive gardens. The gardens were begun in 1929 by Lucy Morton Hudgins and expanded by her son, Commander William Henry Hudgins, in the 1940s, 1960s, and 1970s. Charles F. Gillette, a prominent Virginia landscape architect consulted on the design of the gardens. The gardens are enclosed by walls constructed of stones from the chimneys and foundations of numerous eighteenth and nineteenth century buildings that once stood in the surrounding countryside. There are numerous statues, structures, fountains, and artifacts, imported from Europe and the Far East by Commander Hudgins, in the gardens and adorning the stone walls. The museum and the gardens are open to the public, and MacCallum More can be used for meetings and small private parties. The guest cottage now serves as the gift shop and office for the museum and garden.”

At one time this was a beautiful parkspace, with a pond at the foot of the statue now long-since drained and overgrown. I would like to see it get a little love, as it remains a beautiful space.

In respect of Perfectionism.
I don't think I was born a perfectionist, but I know I become one.
I don't remember if as a child I understood or wish to be a perfectionist, but I know, I aimed for perfectionism later in my life. Probably in my very early 20's, I understood I'm able to bring the best of me in a perfect way. The ability and understanding arrived with life itself.
Perfectionism become part of my creation in many fields. (not in all) It become my wish to create perfect, as much as it was possible for me...And a second nature to me, in some subjects.
Is it really possible to be a perfectionist in posting in internet.... ???
Unfortunately ONLY SOMETIMES.
Why ??? - If you depend on someone else, only sometimes you can be a perfectionist yourself.
If things are only depend on yourself, you can be a perfectionist.
Have yourself a perfect day!!
With my dignity to you!!

By respected architect Robert Macfarlane Cameron, 1896-97; alterations by Cooper and Taylor Architects, 1904. 2-storey, 7-bay near rectangular-plan Jacobean style golf club house. Whitewashed harl; half-timbering at 1st floor; red sandstone ashlar dressings. Red sandstone plinth; timber corbel blocks at 1st floor; overhanging timber bracketed eaves. Red sandstone quoins; predominantly stone mullions at ground; timber mullions at 1st floor. Basket-arched loggia (infilled in bay to left) comprising fluted pilasters and decorative spandrel carving. "ANO D 1896" centred in apex above right.
A fine example of a 'Jacobean in harl and half timber' golf club, with fine detailing, massing, use of materials and including a high quality complimentary interior decorative scheme. This large purpose-built golf club is relatively unaltered and has an important historical connection to the history of golf in Scotland.
The Royal Burgess Golfing Society of Edinburgh holds claim to being the oldest golfing society in the world, with references to it being instituted in 1735 and has since then forged a rich and colourful part of the history of Edinburgh and the game of golf. The club's members first played golf on Bruntsfield Links and used the Golf Tavern as a makeshift clubhouse.
The architect of the Royal Burgess, Robert Macfarlane Cameron, was born in Edinburgh. He was articled to David and John Bryce on 14 September 1875, remaining there as an assistant after completing his apprenticeship. In 1881 he joined the staff of Robert Matheson at the Office of Works as a temporary draughtsman, moving to the Prison Board Architects' Department in 1882.
A little kool aid ish for my standards of "good for you flavored water". The taste reminds me of that old Pepsi Fruit Works cranberry apple. Wimpy is laughing at it because it knows it will never compete with Vitamin water.
A friend that works in the biz says that this is, "Coke Consolidated/BYB's answer to Vitaminwater. "

[This set contains 8 photos] The J. Sidna Allen house (1911) in Fancy Gap, Virginia is a timber frame one-and-a-half-story Queen Anne on a brick foundation. Diamond-shaped shingles cover the upper portion of the building, and ornamental wood trim abounds. It has a cross-gable slate roof intersected by dormer windows and a hexagonal tower capped by a cone. The roof line is complex as a result of the dormers and tower. The Eastlake brackets and scalloping in the cornices correspond to the brackets and flat drops of the porch (best seen in image #6). The front gable roof and front dormer roof ridges formerly had a pattern of iron cresting them, which I assume will appear on the restored structure. There are two exterior brick chimneys and an interior one, each capped with a stone course, four stone insets and corbelled brickwork at the top.
The porch has a shed roof with shingles, brackets and scalloping; at one corner is a gazebo with a conical slate roof and a banquet of wood decoration. Above the front entrance, and connected to a door in the tower, was a balcony (missing at this time in the restoration process). The porch support columns and turned balusters are also currently missing. A small side porch on one side of the house shows a similar pattern of decoration. The entrance has sidelights and a rectangular transom. The molded trim, simulating piers, occurs as window surrounds as well. Most of the windows are temporarily covered: they originally were stained or leaded, many with intricate patterns. Some were 3-part, showing a classical Palladian influence. Some were decorated with a border of smaller colored panes in Queen Anne-style.
Steps led from the road up the hill to the front porch; at present, they are not there. It's easy to see the beauty of this home, even in its pre-restoration state by the Carroll County Historical Society. Architecturally significant, the J. Sidna Allen House was placed on the National Register of Historic Places July 15, 1974 with ID # 74002112
Allen and his wife, who designed their own home, enjoyed it for about a year before the state of Virgnia confiscated the property. Then occurred the Hillsville Massacre of 1912 involving the Allen family in a melee where the judge and some county officials were killed. Sidna Allen was sentenced to life imprisonment; two members of his family were executed. A superb discussion on the Hillsville Massacre and its cast is found at theroanoker.com/interests/history/hillsville-massacre .
An article about Sidna's brother Floyd and the family and trial is at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Allen
An article on the restoration of the house is at www.thecarrollnews.com/news/4668/undoing-revisionist-history
