The elderly, the old, the seniors, by whatever name we refer to them, respect lies in the class they belong to. Such is the beauty of this so called society that we belong to, the sad truth, the salutation of peace, the Salam, would not even be bestowed upon them because they are poor. The times we live in, how we have become tangled in this gruesome web.

Here we see an adult Red-breasted goose (Branta ruficollis) from Eurasia, and sadly currently classified as vulnerable. This goose is an example of hybrid specification, being the result of ancient interbreeding between the Brant goose and the white cheeked goose, some 3.5 million years ago.

Pancake has respect for these. This pretty tractor was seen sunning itself enroute to/from Florida. Possibly just "away from".

„I respect all German people. You are so good.“

„I respect all German people. You are so good.“

Alban, sei herzlich willkommen in Deutschland. Deine Offenheit und Freundschaft haben mich heute sehr berührt. Danke, dass es Dich gibt. Friede mit Dir.

Respected family-owned coach operator Truemans of Ash Vale entered administration on April 24th 2020 after 67 years of trading in the Surrey/Hants border towns of Bagshot, then Deepcut, followed by Fleet and, since 2004, Ash Vale. Upon closure, the fleet consisted of 7 Irizars, 7 Neoplans and a solitary Ford Tourneo.

It took until the beginning of August 2020 for all coaches to move on to pastures new, albeit some in dealers yards awaiting resale.

I managed to grab some shots in the period covering the staggered departure of the coaches.

Photo story:

The story behind this series of pictures is something unique I lived yesterday. It was sunday and I prepared my rucksack and made my plans to spend many hours at the stream, planting lots of oak seeds and take photos. But the day went in another direction, so I spent some time at work, later cleaning up, cooking, taking care of my grandmother... I took launch tooo late and I was tired so went to cancel my plans to go to the stream, but something called me to go even though I was going to have very short time of sunlight. Couldn´t imagine something MAGICAL was waiting for me: the kingfishers appeared briefly giving me no chance to catch them. One appeared and gave me the chance of two shots. I wasn´t prepared to see it right in front of me. Then it went away. It was when sun was gone and light started to really fade away when a Magic blue angel came again to perch on the same tree branches over the water of the stream. Flew few times from one branch to another very slowly, like a hummingbird. It was so quiet that I was able to take my shutter speed as low as 1/20s to reduce noise. My Quiet Continuos 3fps was switched then to reduce noise. I tried many shooting modes, speeds, etc, with the fear it could notice me and go away... BUT IT WAS THERE... EVERYTHING POINTED IT WAS GOING TO STAY THERE TO SLEEP THAT NIGHT. WOW! I understood soon it was going to be one of the most magical moments of my life. And it was so. I didn´t know what to do but didn´t want to disturb it anyway, so decided to stay there as much as possible. It was completely dark when I saw its blue back reflect from my phone light checking that it wasn´t disturbed by me to say goodbye. GOODNIGHT KING. THANKS!.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Two metres at 11.19am on Monday 29th May 2014 off 2903 Ocean Boulevard, Victoria, on the Esquimalt Lagoon Migratory Bird Sanctuary, on the Juan De Fuca Strait, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

The Lagoon is one of seven Migratory Bird Sanctuaries in British Columbia, and an important stopover for birds journeying between North and South America. Visitors include geese and Swans, Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons, plus many other species of birds.

The Great Blue Heron (Ardea Herodias) is a wading bird in the Heron family Ardeidae and found in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Galapagos Islands. One of the largest of Herons, it has a head to tail length of 01-137 centimetres (36-54 inches) and a wingspan of 187-201 centimetres (66-79 inches). They are found where my family live, and naturally very wary of mankind, flying off as soon as you are within fifty to one hundred yards of them.

#9. Thoughtful

My small way of paying respect to the people who have given their lives to protect what they love.

Inspired by a friend's poem, 'Rest In Peace?' by Ben Reiss...

Requiescat in pace they say,

Requiescat in pace.

Easy to say when it’s in bed that you lay

and you’ve actually got skin on your face.

If you’re slumped by a gun

(Which is broken and stuck)

And glowing all white in the sun,

Then it’s hard to see much peace in the muck,

When it’s your skull that leers at the Hun.

These birds live by the thousands and thousands on the side of the cliff. It is there they court and have their nests and lay their eggs. the babies when they hatch have very little space in which to move. Almost none so there is usually only one chick. The parents guard and protect them until they are ready to fledge. I have so much respect for these birds because living on the edge of a cliff can be brutal.

One of my favourite shots from today, when I was taking photos at the Race for Life event in town. I have so much respect for all those who either cycled, jogged or walked the route. (I am going to be sorting out photos for Ray until very late this evening!) These two little girls looked so cute as they turned the last corner coming up to the finish line. Well done to everyone who biked/ran/walked the course today.

a lil' respect for one another, goes a long way.

*experimental.

I've come to this; my life is nowhere near perfect, and neither am I.

But why? Why can't I have a perfect life? I deserve a perfect life... don't I? I mean, I've tried my best my whole life, really I have. I don't complain that much, and I definately respect all people. I know I've done some wrong things like, hold grudges against people who made my life complicated, lose my innocence, say words that are hurtful, and maybe I've told a few lies here and there. But I'm not a bad person, I swear.

So tell me; why me?

Earlier today, after I got home from school, I walked to my bathroom and sat in my sink and cried. I just sat there for a half hour looking at myself. I went into a trance, and all I did was think. I had flashbacks, and after those flashbacks I saw my future. But it wasn't my future, it was possibilities of my future. Like I said, I don't have a perfect life. So here were my options: I could start vomiting after every meal; maybe I could barf up my problems and they'd all go away, & maybe I could feel relieved. But then I thought. If I were to do that, my life would change too much. I wouldn't have the energy to do track anymore, and my body would eventually shut down. So, I thought of another possiblity; I could start hurting myself. Then, I would be sent into an institution and that would take my non perfect life away from me; I'd be secluded from life. But, then I thought. I don't want that-- insanity could take over. So, I thought about another possibility; I could hide everything. My life would be a lie, and everything would be okay, right? Well, I thought about it. It wouldn't be okay. Lies lead to the truth, and truth leads to a new change-- a change that no one wants. Then, there was one more possibility; I could just do it-- end my life.

I had a dream the other night that I was killed. And I woke up and I was feeling on top of the world. Weird right? But in my dream, death was better than life. The journey up to heaven was a mind blowing experience. But then I thought. If I were to end my life, everyone I love would be sad and be left with all my problems; they don't need that. Also, I'm only sixteen. I've barely started my life, and who knows, it could get better? If I were to end my life now, I'd miss out on too much-- learning to drive, finding a true love, summer camp outs with my best friends, sex--- and I'm sure I don't want to miss any of those.

So I thought and decided that none of those would solve my problems-- none of them.

While I was looking at myself, I figured that none of those possibilities would make my life perfect. They'd all make my life less perfect. And I noticed that all those possibilities were all so negative. Could I really not think of one positive path to follow?

Most people tend to take the negative paths.

Why?

They're easier.

But still, I thought about them. And even knowing that they were all wrong, I was so close to just puking my brains out into the toilet that was two feet away from me.

But I didn't. Instead, I rubbed my eyes, washed my face, and walked out the bathroom door.

That's when I starting understanding.

My life isn't suppose to be perfect. My life is a test.

What's that test?

God wants to see how we live. And what I mean is, will we or won't we make the right decisions?

I'm at the point in my life where it all is based on right or wrong decisions, and my god, it is hard. I have a 50/50 chance in making the right decision and everytime it's heart stopping. How will I know if it's the right or wrong decision? I won't. I won't know until later on in life. And everytime, I wish God was right there beside me to tell me what to do. But that won't happen. God wants me to make that decision on my own; it's my life anyways.

So here I am, wondering what to do. What will be the right decision, what will be the wrong decision? I'm not sure. I just have to make that decision based on my feelings I guess, or based on what I really think is the right thing to do.

So here I go, to live my life. I only have one life and one life is pretty damn short. So, this is what I've come up with so far: don't start hurting your body; you could die. Don't start vomiting or starving yourself; you could die. Don't live a lie; your life will get worse. Don't end it now; life isn't suppose to be great, & anyways, God will end it one day--- the right day, and then you'll finally be able to go through that perfect experience. And plus, all of those decisions lead to insanity, and I don't want that.

But still, I'm on the edge of my seat. I'm still thinking about those decisions. And I'm still thinking about what to do.

Somedays, "Fuck my life", is constantly running through my mind and all I can do is cry until my eyes are blood shot. But somedays, that changes. We've all had those on and off days, so you know what I'm talking about. But then there is this one day in your life where you know, for a fact, that everything changes and it will not get better; atleast that's what you think. Well, that's where I am.

I guess I'll go day by day and see what happens. My life is not perfect and never will be, but it doesn't hurt to try.

But still, everyday, I ask myself and God, "Why?"

And then I ask, "God, will you help me today?"

Will he?

That will be the question I ask myself everyday until I know the right decision was made.

And after all this asking God to help me, I blame it on him. He created me. He knew my life way before I was ever living. He knew this all would happen to me. So why the fuck didn't he change it?

He didn't change it because there were many pathways, and I chose to go down a certain one. So I guess I made my messed up life by chosing the wrong decision.

Not him.

Photograph taken of a Pink Moon (April Full Moon) at an altitude of Fifty four metres on Monday 26th April 2021 at 20:08pm on a calm, cool and beautiful Springtime evening in off Chessington Avenue in Bexleyheath, Kent.

A Supermoon (Perigee) occurs when the Moon is at it's closest distance to Earth, some 356,500km compared to it's furthest distance away (Micro moon or Apogee) at 406,700kms.

The moon is the only natural satellite of Earth. It's surface gravity is 0.1654g, around one sixth of Earths, and it's average orbital distance from us is around 384,402km (238,856 miles), or 1.28 light-seconds. The moon influences our tides and stops us in our tracks on a clear night. She is beautiful for sure.

When my wife I and were swimming with the turtles, I told her to respect their space. Never to chase them or try to touch them. Instead, swim along side of them and let them learn to trust you... and when that happens. they'll swim to you.
