NOT from the U.S. border....but an image I snapped 14 years ago in HuaHin,Thailand, and somehow eerily appropriate to repost.
I got this shot 3 years ago in my yard, it was a really harsh winter and there was an article in the local paper about how many of these beautiful owls were dying because they couldn't get food, the snow was too deep, a couple of days after I read that article this gorgeous owl showed up in the yard, he stayed for several days and let me get quite a few shots of him. I thought it was worth reposting.
Reposting this today (9/11/18) in memory of the event that will never fade from our national consciousness.
This is the memorial fountain at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. It's quite difficult to do it justice photographically, particularly in daylight. At night, the interior as well as the border where all the names are inscribed is lit with golden light.

Foto repostada só para avisar que na Igreja da Candelária agora NÃO deixam usar mais tripé ou então foi porque eu estava, segundo o zelador, com uma lente branca muito grande, mas que nem usei e sim a pequena 8-15mm.
Deu preguiça de desfazer mais a curvatura da lente, mas o que eu queria era avisar e mostrar o detalhe do teto de mármore logo na entrada.
