This is a reposting for those of you who haven't seen it ( and to put it in few more groups...LOL.. ) and to announce something that I am proud of...this image is gonna be displayed in the Gallery and on a poster published in the UK by the Tate Group of Galleries
They just sent me this email ;-D
Dear Do ~
We’re delighted to let you know that your image - Being
Green ~ www.flickr.com/photos/deegoo/3296528820/ has
been selected from the Colour Chart group pool to appear in
the Colour Chart poster.
Would you like us to display your real name alongside your
Flickr name in the gallery? If so please let us know the
name you’d like to appear.
And please let us know your postal address so we can send
you a copy of the poster.
Congratulations again
Tate
This was taken with a point and shoot camera. I cropped the edges, but it is otherwise unprocessed.
Mt. Shuksan in alpenglow taken from the Mountaineers Lodge at Mt. Baker, Washington State. I nearly deleted the picture because of the flaw. Several friends could not find the flaw, so here it is. (It is the reflection of the globe light in the lodge).

With apologies, this is a repost of an image I put up last week.
Bit of a saga. It went explore without my noticing, so huge thanks everyone and particularly to those who commented, and sorry for failing to reply!
But when I finally realised, and went to reply to folk, a lightroom update had messed up my whole Flickr stream. I’ve spent the last hour changing previously posted images back to ‘public’, and digging out this one (which had disappeared).
Ho hum.
I can finally proudly announce that Flickr has chosen my image of the red squirrel to be no. 7 in the Top 25 images of 2017!
You can view the other images and how flickr made the Top 25 at the Flickr Blog in the Explore tab.
Thanks everyone for your comments and favs in 2017, I really appreciate your visits!
