This is a repost of a sunflower macro (from last Thanksgiving) to honor the passing of the Philippines' first female president, Corazon Aquino.
I was aware of but a little clueless about the Revolution during my last visit to the Philippines in 1986. Reading President Aquino's biography made me appreciate how much she meant to Filipinos all over the world.
