I just accidently found out this photography won the Bedfordshire county section of the Great British Photograph. It's now in the running for the National competition. There is pretty tough competition but it's great to be a finalist :-)

Na treva mais gelada, na brancura
Mais cega e morta, a vida ainda transluz.
Até de dentro de uma sepultura
Brota um soluço trêmulo de luz,
A luz que sua, a luz que desfigura
As pétalas pendidas nos pauis,
A espuma nos penhascos, fria e pura,
As chamas em seus ápices azuis.
Desalentos, angústias e canseiras
Tornam maior, mais tenebroso o olhar
Que lembra o olhar dos mortos: só olheiras
São existências que se dão inteiras
E sofrem, como o vento, como o mar,
Como todas as coisas verdadeiras.

We are all having a little withdrawal due to cam issues. Here is a video posted on Instagram by the zoo --- 🐼 Nom nom. Leaf eater biscuits are packed with vitamins, protein, fat and fiber. Our giant pandas love them, including #BeiBei.
