This is a repost of a build I did a few months ago when I first started on Flickr, and I wanted to repost this because a lot of you guys never got to see this because I had like 10 followers at most at that point, and I felt like the photo quality was really bad. To give you the rundown of the lore of this ship, LATT stands for Low Altitude Troop Transport, and it was meant to be like a smaller, faster LAAT, and is just supposed to bring small squads of troops to the battlefield, and is often used to transport Commandos to the battlefield. This is completely my own design, and is not based on anything that already exists in Star Wars. Anyway, thank you guys so much for all the support, we’ve gone a long way since the last time a posted this, and feel free to let me know what you think, what I could do better, or what I should build next.

[Reposts] We are now in the middle of Summer 2026 and I have run out of photos to upload. Until I manage to procure new material, I hope you will be happy to see (again?) some oldies I have been compiling for a large and ambitious book project that I have recently undertaken on Romanesque churches and art.

For that future book, I have selected over 2,400 photos from my collection. That number is daunting. Of course, most of them will not make it into the actual book, however thick it may end up being, but keep in mind also that I am not through at all yet with shooting... Aside from the many still unknown churches in France, foreign lands beckon such as Bavaria, Armenia, all the parts of Spain I haven’t visited —not to mention all of Central and Eastern Europe that I was supposed to cover for the à la Zodiaque book project that is still on hold...

Conques is a small Mediæval village in the département of Aveyron (central southern France). Located on the path to Compostela, it features a magnificent Romanesque abbey church built between the 10th and the 11th centuries. I have visited the village several times and it is always a great joy to be there again.

These photos are from August 2017.

The apse of the church with Merovingian sarcophagi excavated from times even before the current church was built. There was an earlier church as a monastery existed here around Year 800.
