"As aves conseguem voar porque elas têm penas.
Se vocês virem outros bichos e achar que são aves, tem que olhar se tem asas, bico e ossos leves, porque as aves têm ossos leves para voar melhor; têm moela, que serve para triturar os alimentos que elas comem, e fica no meio, entre o peito e o pescoço.
Elas têm cloaca, que é uma abertura que fica embaixo das pernas e do rabo das aves, por onde sai o cocô e o xixi de uma só vez.
Elas comem sementes, tipo o beija-flor; comem frutas, tipo as pombas; comem insetos, tipo os passarinhos; comem peixes, tipo as gaivotas. Cada tipo de ave come um tipo de comida.
A gralha-azul enterra as sementes no verão, para no inverno comerem. Às vezes nascem pinheiros, porque elas esquecem onde colocaram.
As aves de rapina têm um bico forte, visão de longo alcance e visão noturna. Elas conseguem voar alto, tipo a coruja".
