Just as Björk, Yellow Magic Orchestra and Ryuichi Sakamoto - these out there visionaries create ambient and warm sonic contrasts, mixing Electronica, House, Jazz and Trad Japanese to become truely unique. It´s the definition of groove-phenomena, audio-sex to the weird and wonderful.
The avantgarde-trio consists of SIENNÀ on keyboards, vocals, DJ and programming. Hallvard Gaardløs on bass and guitarist Fredrik Karwowski.
Catch Report - 19/06/12 - Back Garden/Farmland
Had a blistering night last night running 2 traps on the farm. Mild conditions have obviously helped more species come on the wing and yesterday was warm and calm and this theme continued well into the night, with a low this morning at 4.45am of 12c.
2 Lobster Moths were a nice surprise this morning, a Moth that I have only ever seen in mature Oak Woodland and only ever in numbers in Essex (Thorndon Country Park)
Another moth that surprised me was 2 specimens (1 worn) of the Figure of Eighty moth, one that I rarely see (perhaps in decline?)
Interesting Micro's including a 3rd County record of Phtheochroa inopiana and the rarely recorded Isotrias rectifasciana featured in last nights catch.
Also an 2 examples of Cochylis molliculana turned up to the trap, quite a scarce moth in Hertfordshire, and no doubt spreading from it's nearby stronghold in Essex.
All in all I noted 15 new species for the year with 2 of them new to me.
Today looks to be even warmer, so the traps will be on once again tonight

Today was a busy day for Mingle Media TV’s Red Carpet Report Team. While at Hollywood and Highland to pick up their official media credentials for the Oscars, they stopped by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Awards Information Media Center who were hosting the 10th Annual Awards Media Center with Co-host L’Oreal Paris.
At this special event, the media attending were treated to the "hot dog to the stars” from Pink’s Hot Dogs, Hansen’s Water and Coconut Water, Village Pizzeria had bite size goodies and L’Oréal Paris had a great gift bag and a professional make-up artist on hand offering ttips on creating a glamorous red-carpet look.
While the RCR team were at the TCL Chinese Theatre they got to see first hand, the unveiling of the Anne Hathaway wax figure which was the second of twelve figures that the world famous Madame Tussauds Hollywood plans to unveil this year. You’ll be surprised to learn it too took 20 artists three months to create and only cost $300,000. Look closely at the figure - it captures Anne’s smile… or so we’re told. Tell us what you think.

Comedy Shorts Film Festival (LACS) Awards ceremony and gala hosted by Wayne Brady with presenting Key & Peele at the opening the show. This year LACS broke several of its past records which included over 1000 film submissions, the largest number of international submissions received and well over 5000 attendees for the four-day event.
