This is on the side of the road, across from my brother's house. He said it's been there for years. I think it's kind of spooky...seen too many horror movies, I think!
A Avenida Capitão Ene Garcez de repente torna-se palco do desfile, com a participação de escolas, fanfarras, representantes de instituições de ensino superior, grupos de escotismo, esportistas, Lions Clube, Maçonaria, Centro de Tradições Gaúchas (CTG), Colégio Militar de Manaus, Polícia Militar, Corpo de Bombeiros Militar, Guarda Municipal, Polícia Federal, e claro o tão esperado desfile motorizado e o desfile do Esquadrão de Cavalaria Montada da PM.

Oreo: - Vc sempre foge das tarefas! Sempre com a cabeça nas nuvens! - Oreo ralhava com a irmã ignorando totalmente a presença do Pancada, alí do lado.
Pancada: "Eita p...! Até o cara é bonito, eu hein, que família é essa!"
Asheville NC is one of the most liberal places in America. All kinds of "lifestyles" are tolerated. "If you're too weird for Ahseville, you're too weird" says the t-shirt. Hippies still live as in the 60's. Gays, lesbians, bi's, trans-sexuals, male & female impersonators, and even heterosexuals, all co-exist peacefully. In a downtown street festival, such as Bele Chere, the air frequently has an "herbal" scent. There are a several vegetarian restuarants and almost every restuarant has vegetarian selections.
So it seemed incongruous that some men of God were preaching intolerance and about the vengence of a hateful God. I heard that there had been some vocal confrontations but all I saw was laid back amusement.
EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE
Still working on emotions. SB and I had a discussion re: his actions over the last couple of days. He is hoping you see one emotion there, I was hoping he would learn the difference.
I know he is sorry that he stuck the pencil in the extension cord, but I want him to be repentent of it. Sorry will only stop him until he forgets the pain, repenting means I will not have to worry about him doing it again because he has changed his mind about how fun it would be to stick the end of his pencil into an electrical outlet. We'll see which path he chooses.

De repente mi mirada se centra en este monumento, hice pausa, mi cerebro no procesaba bien lo que veía, para mí fue una completa novedad, primera vez que tenia la posibilidad de registrar con mi lente una de este estilo.
No es como las de Antioquia, pero en su región desempeña las mismas funciones, conserva su idiosincrasia y estilo.

A ella porque me sorprendió con su enorme dulzura, con su simpatía... porque me emocionó hasta el borde de las lagrimas con su talento como bailarina y actriz...

Repentance
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near." (Matthew 3:2 NIV)
The opening message of John the Baptist, who served as a herald for Jesus, was, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." This call to repentance was an urgent appeal to sinners. No one who refuses to repent can ever enter the kingdom of God. Repentance is a prerequisite, a necessary condition for salvation. In Scripture, repentance means "to undergo a change of one's mind." This change of mind is not a mere switching of minor opinions, but of the entire of one's life. It involves a radical turning fromsin and to Christ. Repentance is not the cause of new birth or regeneration; it is the result or fruit of regeneration. Though repentance begins with regeneration, it is an attitude and action that must be repeated throughout the Christian life. As we continue to si direction n, we are called upon to repent as we are convicted of our sin by the Holy Spirit. Theologians make a distinction between two kinds of repentance.
=> Attrition. Attrition is a false or spurious kind of repentance. It involves remorse caused by a fear of punishment or a loss of blessing. Attrition, then, is repentance motivated by fear.
=> Contrition, on the other hand, is true and godly repentance. It is genuine. It includes a deep remorse for having offended God. The contrite person openly and fully confesses his sin with no attempt to excuse it or justify it. This acknowledgment of sin is coupled with a willingness to make restitution whenever possible and a resolve to turn away from sin. This is the spirit of repentance that David exhibited in (Psalm 51:10,17). Repentance is a necessary condition for salvation, the fruit of regeneration. True repentance includes full confession, restitution, and resolve to turn from sin, and motivated by godly. When repentance is offered to God in a spirit of true contrition, He promises to forgive us and to restore us to fellowship with Him. Hallelujah, Amen ... God bless.

era como un reflejo,
no me copiaba, pero hacía lo mismo que yo,

Toma un mate, y veo que tiene un herpes igual que yo.
"no te acordas de mí?" me pregunta
sin hablar le digo que no,
y se ríe como quien cae en la vergüenza
"nos conocimos en misiones"
y es verdad, nos habíamos conocido en misiones
y despues nos fuimos juntos a brasil;
ella y yo paseamos una semana santa cerca de las cataratas.
Pero de todas maneras, ella no era muy de verdad.

algunos se poblaron de enredaderas.
otros de goteras. otros de cemento, otros no sabemos.
ir, venir, andar, dormir en camas propias, ajenas, casi olvidadas.
lo nuevo es el futuro.
y lo bueno es saber que siempre alguien nos espera.
