Sogrão veio de repente para uma passar um noite conosco, e coisa muito típica de homem que gosta de não se esquentar com nada, veio sem uma bolsa (!) mas espalhados pelos bolsos da calça e camisa, os remédios ,carteira, e até agenda !
Logo fiquei incomodada quando ele me pediu uma sacolinha, pra colocar a agenda...E pensei em fazer para ele que é um típico nordestino cabra macho, um embornal daqueles de sertanejo....Minha pobre máquina que passou meses encostada e essa semana veio da revisão, estava afiadinha... e eu sem tecido em casa! Acreditam???Pois é todo meu material de costura fica na loja...Sorte que tinha separado esse brim ontem e levado pra casa com alguns aviamentos e tinha um retalho de uma camisa que fiz há tempos.
Depois de alimentar a tropa com um delicioso caldo verde, pilotei minha máquina e medi, cortei , fiz as alças e meia noite..desencantou essa bolsa, hoje só fiz colocar as ferragens !

My Friend: I am asking you the most important question of life. Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity
depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if
you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?
God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Ye must be
born again.”
In the Bible God gives us the plan of how to be born again which means to be saved. His plan is simple! You
can be saved today. How?
First, my friend, you must realize you are a sinner. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
(Romans 3:23).
Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. “For the wages [payment] of sin is death” (Romans
6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in Hell.
“ . . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
But God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place.
“ . . . He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness
of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Jesus had to shed His blood and die. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Lev. 17:11). “ . . . without
shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]” (Hebrews 9:22).
“ . . . God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8).
Although we cannot understand how, God said my sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our
place. He became our substitute. It is true. God cannot lie.
My friend, “God . . . commandeth all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). This repentance is a change of
mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Jesus did for us on the Cross.
In Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas: “ . . . ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ And they
said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved . . . .’ ”
Simply believe on Him as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and whom God
resurrected. His resurrection powerfully assures that the believer can claim everlasting life when Jesus is
received as Savior.
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on His name” (John 1:12).
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
Whosoever includes you. Shall be saved means not maybe, nor can, but shall be saved.
Surely, you realize you are a sinner. Right now, wherever you are, repenting, lift your heart to God in prayer.
In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: “God be merciful to me a sinner.” Just pray: “Oh God, I know I am a sinner.
I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and
resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift
of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen.”
Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no
lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it!
God’s simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your
place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you
receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith.
You say, “Surely, it cannot be that simple.” Yes, that simple! It is scriptural. It is God’s plan. My friend, believe
on Jesus and receive Him as Savior today.
If His plan is not perfectly clear, read this tract over and over, without laying it down, until you understand
it. Your soul is worth more than all the world.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).
Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you miss Heaven and lose all. Please! Let God save you this very
moment.
God’s power will save you, keep you saved, and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. “There hath no
temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted
above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1
Corinthians 10:13).
Do not trust your feelings. They change. Stand on God’s promises. They never change. After you are saved,
there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth:
Pray -- you talk to God.
Read your Bible -- God talks to you.
Witness -- you talk for God.
You should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and
then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay. “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of
our Lord . . . .” (2 Timothy 1:8)
“Whosoever therefore shall confess [testify of] Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which
is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32).

De repente, de pies a cabeza, se siente como cada pelo que está sobre este cuerpo, se va erectando. Adormecimiento que desde abajo asciende y abraza, aunque de vez en cuando golpea.
Sí señoras y señores, es amor.

cuando despierto en la mañana

De repente mi mirada se centra en este monumento, hice pausa, mi cerebro no procesaba bien lo que veía, para mí fue una completa novedad, primera vez que tenia la posibilidad de registrar con mi lente una de este estilo.
No es como las de Antioquia, pero en su región desempeña las mismas funciones, conserva su idiosincrasia y estilo.

De repente un día te das cuenta de todo el tiempo que ha pasado. Te acuerdas de cómo eras hace no demasiado y te ves ahora y notas que has cambiado muchísimo, que no te imaginabas lo que iba a ocurrir y cómo te iba a afectar, pero aquí estás, sigues siendo tú, con un poco de experiencia más, pero al fin y al cabo tú. Mientras cambias no te das cuenta, y, es más, probablemente ahora lo estés haciendo, y por mucho que creas que no, lo harás. De eso se trata. Lo quieras o no, tu vida va a cambiar, va a haber malas rachas y las va a haber buenas, y en eso no puedes hacer mucho, salvo hacer con el tiempo que tienes lo que puedas por mejorarlo. Y entonces, en un día no muy lejano recordarás este momento y pensarás: '¿tanto ha pasado?' Lo que no sabes es si recordarás el tiempo que pase hasta entonces con una sonrisa o no, eso depende de ti.

This woman's sign refers to Acts 17:30 in the Bible ("In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent"). Here in the hubbub of Piccadilly Circus she didn't seem to attract much notice.
De repente dou conta do meu ser, da minha existência, quebro o silêncio rarefeito que me vigia os passos, que me prende a voz, sugo a saudade inerte, a ausente palpitação de qualquer coisa, que navega dentro de mim...e reparo no nada, no vazio inquieto que suporta a nossa dor, o suor cansado que nos cobre o rosto, as cores, os sons, o sol posto. É tão bom poder sentir, olhar de frente o nada, mas saber que se vê tudo, pois o nada só é nada, se for tudo.
Só agora reparei como é bela a noite, a lua que a ilumina, os lampiões que a acompanham, mas não tristes e sós, a pedra recalcada, os caminhos desertos da calçada, que nos acompanham e nos abrigam a voz. É bom poder sentir o nada, quando se sente o nada dá-se valor ao tudo, que afinal não é mais que quase nada...
As sombras cansadas fazem parte de nós, mas não são nada sozinhas, pois tudo o que as faz sorrir, é o nada que as olha e as despe, sem se sentir. Quando acordares olha de frente o nada, e diz-me se sentiste o vazio percorrer o teu olhar, preencher cada espaço sem tempo, o nada que acontece, e diz-me se o nada existe, se me disseres que não, perguntar-te-ei o que é a existência? se me disseres que sim é porque olhas e consegues ver...

se fossem a conduzir e de repente estivesse um elefante dumas 5 toneladas que ocupava a vossa faixa de rodagem e de tromba esticada ocupava a outra faixa, o que faziam ?
Pois nós parámos e ficámos à espera que ele atravessasse, como seria normal, mas não.... este elefante não estava ali para atravessar, estava ali à espera de quem passava.
Para quê ? para lhe pagarmos uma portagem em qualquer espécie de alimentos.
Da última vez que me tinha cruzado com um bicho desta envergadura e sózinho, o guia muito devagar fez marcha atrás durante um kilómetro, perseguido pelo elefante, até que este desistiu.
Pensando nisso, aguardámos que aparecessem outros carros, mas em vez disso quem apareceu primeiro foram 2 cães, dos quais um deles resolveu ladrar para o 'matulão', claro que levou uma corrida em osso.
O elefante não achou graça nenhuma e os cães com o rabo entre as pernas fugiram.
Aí ainda fiquei mais convicta que não ía arriscar-me, até que aparece do lado contrário um carro.
Qual não foi o meu espanto quando reduziram a marcha meteram o braço fora da janela e deram-lhe uns frutos enormes.
Assim aconteceu, com mais condutores já conhecendo a manha do bicho, vinham prevenidos.
Ora como não tinhamos nada para lhe dar, voltámos para trás até ao posto da polícia, para avisar do sucedido e ao mesmo tempo pensando que eles íam resolver o problema.
Pois os polícias riram-se muito e disseram-me: NO PROBLEM.
Quando dispunhamo-nos a ir comprar um cacho de bananas, para ver se conseguiamos chegar ao destino. Eis que aparece um autocarro apinhado de gente, como é habitual, por estas paragens.
Pensámos, o melhor será colarmo-nos nas traseiras do BUS e ver o que acontece, se o elefante reagir, tem muita gente com que se entreter antes de virar o nosso jeepezinho !!!
Um pouco nervosa com a situação, lá seguimos bem juntinho a ele.
O autocarro antes de se aproximar do 'bicho' parou. Depois recomeçou a marcha lentamente e voltou a parar em frente do animal, enquanto este com a tromba procurava qualquer guloseima. O condutor segredou-lhe não sei o quê e o animal recolheu a tromba e lá passamos todos.
Mais tarde olhando para o mapa, apercebi-me que estavamos a travessar Yala NP, um dos muitos parques nacionais. Aqui há tantos que é impossível atravessar o país sem passar por eles.
País saído duma guerra em 2009 está atentar rápidamente repôr tudo no sitio, principalmente o turismo, povo afável e educado, muita segurança por todo o lado, uma grande e agradável surpresa.

Asheville NC is one of the most liberal places in America. All kinds of "lifestyles" are tolerated. "If you're too weird for Ahseville, you're too weird" says the t-shirt. Hippies still live as in the 60's. Gays, lesbians, bi's, trans-sexuals, male & female impersonators, and even heterosexuals, all co-exist peacefully. In a downtown street festival, such as Bele Chere, the air frequently has an "herbal" scent. There are a several vegetarian restuarants and almost every restuarant has vegetarian selections.
So it seemed incongruous that some men of God were preaching intolerance and about the vengence of a hateful God. I heard that there had been some vocal confrontations but all I saw was laid back amusement.

Buy in haste, repent at leisure.
After a long day in the sun yesterday we got home at about 6.30pm and i noticed an ad on our local classifieds for a Bessamatic with extra lenses and filters for a very low price.
We went across town to get it and being tired and sweaty i just gave the guy the cash and headed out.
On getting home and looking at the camera more closely, i discovered that the shutter is well and truly broken, it looks like a finger was poked right thru it.
Oh well, the lenses it came with are worth more than i paid for the whole shebang.
She will look nice on the display shelf.
Moral: always check a camera before paying for it.

This is on the side of the road, across from my brother's house. He said it's been there for years. I think it's kind of spooky...seen too many horror movies, I think!
