Deboxing of the new Classic Evil Queen doll. The doll has been removed from the box, but she is still attached to the backing and spacers by thread, rubber bands, T-tabs and wires.
First look at the newly released Disney Store Classic Evil Queen 12'' doll. On the upper right of the front of the box is a little drawing of the poison apple that she used on Snow White in the original Disney animated movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). The Evil Queen's look (the doll and her outfit) is based on her appearance in the movie, and is much more movie accurate than the Designer Evil Queen doll (September 2011), who was ''re-imagined'' as a fashion doll.
2012-2013 Disney Princess Classic Doll Collection Evil Queen 12'' Doll
US Disney Store
$14.50, or 2 for $20
Released in stores December 30, 2012
Purchased in store January 3, 2013
Not yet available online
I went to my local DS on Thursday January 3, 2013 and snagged two of the brand new Classic Villain 12'' Dolls, the Evil Queen and Maleficent. They were just released in some stores this past weekend, and are not yet available online. My store did not have the new Jafar yet, but will get him very soon. I also got Mother Gothel, who is in the new ''Posable Arms and Legs'' package so presumably has the new knee and ankle joints that the 2012 Classic Princess dolls have (first introduced with Classic Merida). The new Evil Queen and Maleficent dolls also have the new leg joints. They were all part of the 2 for $20 Disney Princess Classic Doll sale, even though they are brand new releases. I will post photos of all of them boxed, during their deboxing, and fully deboxed, both alone and with other comparable dolls.
So, after the cat uses the litter, you have to put the waste into the toilet which means you pull this crazy thing forward and kind of scoop it in there.

After the train had steamed away a sale by auction was held of the materials of the old Methodist Church; and then we had the choice of going to a bazaar in aid of the new Church, which was opened by Mr. J. Lambert.” [Naracoorte Herald 18 Dec 1900]

WOLSELEY WESLEYAN CHURCH
Opened 27 Jul 1884 as church & Sunday School, wood & iron, rented to government as day school until Aug 1892, demolished & materials sold Sep 1900 when new Methodist church built.
“Efforts were being made to buy land and build a church at Wolseley, which it was proposed to use as a public school until a school-house was built.” [Border Watch 27 Feb 1884]
“"Considering how weak numerically the people of Wolseley are it is surprising that they manage to keep two churches open. The Church of England – which by the way looks all the better for the painting it recently received at the hands of some of its supporters — is open every Sunday afternoon, a clergyman doing duty one Sunday in the month and a lay reader taking the remaining services. Mr. A. Crossley attends at the Wesleyan Church more frequently than once a month, and usually has good congregations. One or other of the circuit local preachers take the intervening services.” [Narracoorte Herald 5 May 1885]
“At Wolseley the anniversary of the Wesleyan Church was celebrated on Sunday and Monday, 11th, and 12th inst. Rev. J. H. Stafford, from Kaniva, Victoria, preached on Sunday. The usual tea was held on Monday, but the terrible state of the roads prevented a large attendance.” [Yorke’s Peninsula Advertiser 23 Jul 1886]
“An effort is being made to induce the Education Department to erect public school at Wolseley, The school at present la held in the Wesleyan Church, a small wooden building, and which is too small and hot for the children during the summer months,” Border Watch 23 Nov 1887]
“Wolseley owes its existence to the railway, and were natural conditions allowed to take their course uninterfered with would now be a place of more importance than it is. Wolseley was founded as the result of private enterprise, In November, 1888. after the railway from Custon to Border Town was completed, it was laid out and sold, by a private gentlemen, and the public confidence in its future was shown by the fact that nearly all the allotments were disposed of at a good price,” [Border Watch 17 Dec 1887]
“at once commence the erection of the State school at Wolseley, which was promised some months ago, and which is more necessary now because the building temporarily hired by the department is not large enough to accommodate the children who wish to attend.” [Chronicle 23 Jan 1892]
“The new public school at Wolseley was opened on August 30th. There has evidently been some mismanagement at headquarters with regard to this school, as seating accommodation is provided for only thirty-six scholars, while the number at present on the roll is fifty-seven, and it is expected that this number will be augmented when fine weather sets in.” [Millicent Times 17 Sep 1892]
“Synod . . . Methodist Church . . . Permission was given to the authorities of the Border Town Circuit to erect a new church at Wolseley, and to sell the material of the old church.” [Chronicle 10 Nov 1900]
I can't believe Miss Manners said that either! This particular passage was what prompted me to spend $1 of my hard earned money on this particular book. Well that and my addiction to books I may or may not read anytime soon. I really shouldn't be allowed in used bookstores or rummage sales. The decreased price makes it seem less goofy to buy books like this. Although this book has a lot more fun parts like this. Hopefully I'll get time to share more later.

Before anything could be done, the caretakers, staff, and volunteers worked hard at removing the tall habitat walls first so contractors could get inside to do their work. Lots of planning went into this project.
