A McCormick-Deering Farmall "Regular" tractor. This tractor was produced from 1928-1932, and was succeeded by the F-20 model (as far as I can tell, the F-20 was essentially the same tractor with some different engine accessory details, such as carburetor and air intake piping). I bought this tractor in 1982 with intentions to restore it. Unfortunately, a job relocation made that impractical and it was eventually sold to another collector. The serial number plate was gone, so I could not positively identify the year of manufacture, but I suspect it was in the earlier run, since it has open steering gears, and I have not seen another one made like that. The steel rear "tires" were not original - the spokes had been spliced and welded. I have no idea if it came with steel or rubber tires originally.
Two different types of rack at this installation. I prefer the regular U style. This picture was taken during Farmers Market so it's a full house. The only rack in town I know of with more room than this is at the South Pasadena Public Library.
Unfortunately, the Farmers Market has started to ban bikes (even bikes being walked) from the Farmers Market. (But double-wide strollers are still okay...) Unfortunately, that makes this rack hard to get to since you'd only be able to roll your bike to it from Mission south and still adhere to those rules.
