Ha Ha just a regular day in Chateau Frontenac Quebec, I took it during travel in Quebec this April, just want to try something different. 這是魁北克城堡酒店中拍的,有一段時間了,頗有味道的酒店大堂和大家分享
Can you still hear that driveway bell going “ding ding” as you pull in? Then the question from the full service guy asking, “Regular or ethyl?” He cleans your windshield, checks your tires, and off you go!
Rachel is a regular on weekends at 'Home of the Blues' Grossman's Tavern. She would sing a song or two, as a guest to New Orleans style band. Usually a bluesy tune, not particularly happy, but heartfelt. Her favourite is "Judge Send Me to the 'Lectric Chair." When not singing, she would be socializing, laugh and dance like there is no care in the world. Rabi Rachel is also in charge to light the Chanukah candles when Christmas spirit becomes too sugary to deal with.
Mike Evin is frequent piano player and vocalist with the weekend bands.
♫"I done cut my good man's throat.
I caught him with a trifling Jane,
I warned him 'bout before.
I had my knife and went insane.
The rest you ought to know....." ♫

We interrupt our regular Fall programming to bring you a freshly emerged Monarch Butterfly. I didn't even know there were any pupae in my yard. He was not ready to fly, still pumping his wings and I think agitated, climbing all over this humongous Pride of Madeira. I had fired the water hose that direction a little while before and probably disrupted wherever he was hanging. The sun had already set when I saw him, but I rushed for camera and ring light for a few snaps. Then I gently let him crawl onto my finger and moved him to a milkweed bloom in a more sheltered corner close to the house. I checked early this morning before I left on a morning outing - he was happily right where I left him, a survivor of the cold night, and he was on his journey somewhere by the time I returned. By the way, he's a he by those 2 smudges on the wings. You can see them too in his closed position.
Gas station memorabilia. The pumps are from the early days of unleaded gas. Sixty-nine-nine a gallon. Delavan Illinois.

As always I extend my sincere gratitude to all who are kind enough to comment and fave my photos or even stop by and just have a look. It is very much appreciated.
This is what I do to survive the COVID-19 in between crocheting and regular photography. I like this app because it has like over 100 colors and then you can edit them using via Flickr or whatever edit or that you have. So I just thought I’d share.
Hobbies are good to have during this and keep our minds off of the impending doom.
Please be safe
Many thanks on the EXPLORE 👍 🙏
A common gull of the Old World, Black-headed Gull is a rare, but regular visitor to eastern North America. (Source: All About Birds, Cornell Lab of Ornithology.)
A "life" bird for me.
Our regular resident robin taking it easy in our garden . I am always amazed at the volume of the robin when singing his song , how does such a little chap sing so loud ??
These regularly spaced posts are all that remains of earlier coastal defences at Happisburgh, Norfolk uk.

We have apple trees, plum trees, damson trees and many other trees, unfortunately we have no pear trees for them.
Some strange timings can occur with this working and I've stood for a couple of hours only for it to be caped at Carlisle Upperby Bridge Junction having watched proceed that far on the maps. Today, It ran early out of Carlisle, passed me at Yanwath 36 early then sat in the loop at Eden Valley, leaving 3 minute late. This enabled me to relocate to Bessy Gill.
90045 and 90004 pass the gallery of 5 on their way south with the 4M83 Saturdays 10.33 Coatbridge to Crewe Basford Hall. This was a regular 86 working a few years ago too. 16/7/2022
Burlington Street, Hamilton. If I lie very, very quietly, the enormous concrete millipede won't eat me.
Winter has shown us its less beautiful side in the last few days. It's actually cloudy, dreary and gray out there all day long. Probably at night too, but we are spared this sight because of the regular darkness.
Now it's time for me to change the seasons once again to at least spread a little light and color here.
And so we go back to a beautiful November evening in the beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains (on the outskirts of Lohmen) in a beautiful beech forest (someone might say I have a problem with superlatives) and enjoy the sun as it casts stripes of light and shadow on the forest floor.
By the way, the area directly in front of us spontaneously reminded me of a road, which led to the title of this picture.

Trying out a new view. BNSF's GALMEM (Galesburg, IL - Memphis, TN) departs the K Line and joins up with Terminal Railroad's Merchants District at "North Market" in North St. Louis, MO. That's it.
New York area commuter service to the Jersey shore on the former New York & Long Branch was one of the last strongholds of E units. Here a Penn Central E8A stands near the engine house lead in South Amboy, New Jersey.
At the moment the reserve at Old Moor holds large numbers of these lovely ducks. Some do breed in Scotland and Northern England but most migrate here from colder climates further north.
This male Wigeon was photographed in the reflection off nearby reed during an early morning sunrise
This Blue Heron is a regular visitor at my smorgasbord that I fondly call my pond. Sometimes he comes three or four days in a row and then I don't see him for awhile and even though he has seen me dozens of times, he is still very wary and will take flight if I get too close!
As regular contacts will have seen, my son bought me a gift of an afternoon Tea for Two do be delivered yesterday because all slots for today had been sold out. There was far too much for both of us so we ate the two remaining pieces today . Original shots in comments.
These guys are regular birds in the bay and can be seen all year round.
Gifted with the perfect camouflage they should be the consummate masters of disguise. As always they can't keep still, makes my job of finding them easier though.
