Regular yet elegant footwear for ladies being sold on the pavements of Lucknow.

Getting to be regular visitors to feeding station, first shot taken with Hahnel Combi TF remote control (Had this some time but it would not work at first, eventually discovered it had been sold with a dud battery- very difficult to remove and replace!!!)

An early test for my upcoming project I'm working on. It's about how we all want to be treated as equals but at the same time want to be seen as individuals. Let me know what you think.

Keep watching www.3rd-floor.org for regular updates.

If you want to see a video of this Chamber Orchestra you can click HERE! It was filmed last year though but I still think it's pretty beast ;]

A bunch of regular punters thouroughly enjoying their drink atthe bar of the famous brown pub "Den Engel" in the city of Antwerp, situated around the "Grote Markt" (the name "Grote Markt" means "Great Market" in Flemish/Dutch.The name of the brown pub "Den Engel" means "The Angel" in Flemish/Dutch).This must be one of the most photographed brown pubs in the city of Antwerp !

The people behind the bar and the punters are very friendly and symphatetic towards photographers. One of the punters sitting at the bar wanted me to buy him a drink...But that's just fishing...;-)

Regular visitors to Glenloy Lodge for their evening snack

Sex Maniac... like to lick pussy that why he lost his hair at the forehead

After a single night in the upper capsule sweating the whole night, I couldn't take it anymore. By moving upstairs I got an ensuite shower/toilet, more space and privacy, and - most importantly - my own A/C unit.

This little lady has become a regular visitor to our yard over the past year or two. She and her mate make multiple daily visits these days.

They had a third (their young I assume) in tow through the winter and until recent weeks. That one seems to have moved on. This same pattern has held for the Blue Jay family that visits nearly every morning for their breakfast of peanuts in the shell.

I've really enjoyed watching and learning from these birds. This photo depicts a rather bold move on her part though. I replentish the feeders in the early evening, and this pair normally drop in just as I get into the house. On this day, she was actually bold enough to come to the feeder while I stood outside for a time. That was a first. Baby steps...

Their days are numbered: A string of regular ore cars rolls into the yard at Proctor with Minorca limestone on Nov. 2, 2008. This fleet of these 60 year old cars must be oldest in active revenue service on CN. About half still have their old friction bearing trucks while some have been retrofitted with roller bearings. One has to think these oldest of the ore cars will be retired when CN's new 232 ore cars delivery starts in 2009.

Adapted to fit a child. Cast on 72 stitches, knit for 5 inches then began decreases. Gift for my 7 year old nephew who requested a brown hat. :)

Same scene as yesterday, but taken from a different angle. Not sure which I prefer.

Collins St. Regulars bought into the spotlight the background figures from John Brack’s beloved 1955 painting Collins St., 5 pm, in a soft sculpture street art installation as part of White Night Melbourne, 2013.

The figures all blindly hustled along in one direction towards their original destination of Spencer Street Station (now known as Southern Cross Station). This left the viewer to take the role as one of the foreground characters in the painting.

Sewn from canvas and painted, the figures referenced the medium of Brack’s original work, with a nod to another of Melbourne’s beloved artists, Mirka Mora and her painted sculpture dolls.

Collins St. Regulars was a playful work that invited the public to become a part of one of Melbourne’s best loved paintings. All night people were photographed it or photographing themselves in front of it.

As the night wore on, more and more of the Regulars were souvenired by passersby, by 7am only 11 remained.

That's me, on one of my regular gigs... a train trip. That’s a luggage wagon.

I was just writing about music lessons in another context: the player piano in the Ghost Ship warehouse that burned. But it needs it own place:

Player piano-

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Player_piano

- when i was a kid, we were constantly moving ( Navy ).

- i remember that my parents tried to give me music.

- i took piano for seven years, probably off and on. I remember a recital- either in Seattle where i played a piece that i can remember. it would take me ages to learn to play it, now. it was real, two-hand playing. geez.

- then i guess they decided that i should have a portable instrument. we were living in a quanset hut in Coral Sea Village, at the south end of Mare Island, near the remains of the volcano.*

- they got me a three-quarter violin and lessons. ( we still have it. George fools around with it a little, but there is only one string. a real repair would be pretty expensive. )

- i don't think i got anywhere with the violin.

- next it was A PLAYER PIANO. we were still on Mare Island, but ouside the gate, in Guadalcanal Village.

- i don't remember piano lessons, this time. maybe the idea was that- if i didn't take it seriously- as least the family could enjoy it.

- it was amazing. piano rolls, not only held a 'recording' of the music: it had a certain person's interpretation of the music. far out.

- i don't remember a conflict, but this was also the time that we got our first TV SET- a huge black and white, tube set, the size of a washing machine. This is the actual set a couple of years later:

www.flickr.com/photos/doneastwest/31907524355/in/datepost...

- yes, i think the player piano and the TV were there without conflict. It was very fun to "play" it.

* - yes, a volcano.

- we played among gigantic broken boulders with lots of play space, under and between them. one side of the rocks had lava flow lines on them. this is the closest image that i've found:

www.google.com/search?q=volcano+flow+lines+in+cooled+rock...

- it is much smaller scaled, the rock surface covered with what looked like viscous teardrops.

- I'll have to draw it....

El Tajín is a pre-Columbian archeological site in southern Mexico and is one of the largest and most important cities of the Classic era of Mesoamerica. El Tajín was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992, due to its cultural importance and its architecture.

This is quite a piece of work considering how long ago this was created. The mining, measuring, cutting, positioning of the stone would all have been completed by hand.
