A refreshing -17C this morning and clear blue skies with just a few snowflakes drifting down.

Sadly most of them were damaged but this guy seemed to survived fairly intact.

Shot with my Nikon 10X objective. Crystal is approx 1.25mm across.

This was one of my most favorite shoots ever. The photography gods were definitely in a great mood. Shayla and I both have social anxiety issues but we are so comfortable with each other. She is one of the easiest and most gorgeous models I have ever worked with. We finished this shoot on a lovely evening in late September, just as the temperatures started to drop. The water in the Boise River was quite cold but that didn't stop Shayla. She was turning blue by the time we finished. Life is very, very good!

Tiny droplet shot at Raireshwar. My friend Ritesh was standing with umbrella to save my camera from rain drops. See his reflection in the droplet in LARGE

Nothing more refreshing than a trip to the beach for the first time after the ice has gone!

Open water in Clerkenwell is not easy to find, the River Fleet, having become little more than an open sewer, was covered over more than 160 years ago. Few parks or gardens seem to have any water features which begs the question as to what foxes drink.

This summer they will not have had any problems since the rain has been plentiful and the puddles many. Yesterday, the puddles seemed to offer another chance to try and catch foxes' reflections but by the foxing hour, of course, the puddle I had in mind had shrunk to a shadow of its breadth in the afternoon. However there was just enough to experiment with a couple of foxes obliging.

[This is again shot remotely using the Fuji XT-2 wifi connection to my mobile with the camera sitting on the edge of the kerb. The slight lag means chimping is unavoidable but it still gets shots you cannot get, even with a long lens]

This one stood out. Unlike all the other red ones, this one decided to go yellow; along with a bokeh halo to match.

It is very refreshing to sit and watch the waves crash against the rocks at the Oregon Coast. I could have sat at this spot all day long. :-)

Enjoying some thai tea and an apple after a hard days work. Been working for my aunt in her restaurant over the pass few days. Helping her out with her new menu as well as taking lots of photos of her food. Haven't had much time to myself till now, so I just wanted to upload a simple picture :)
