I am a longtime Communications Professional specializing in photography and videography.
Located in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) region, I shoot real estate, events, fashion, events, news and sports. I have produced many TV commercials and corporate videos, and have a rather long credit list of local (to Southern Maryland) TV shows I have developed, hosted, shot, directed, edited and produced.
I'm interested in hearing from and interacting with serious hobby photographers and professional photogs and videographers, as well as hearing from anyone who wishes to discuss a photo or video project.
Thanks!

My husband shot this one and it is my favorite of them all. It is the most beautiful and the water is so translucent. Does that make sense. I just thought it was beautiful. - Explore August 7, 2007- #191
African Elephant Loxodonta africana
Water is a pre-requisite for life -- and no more so than in the heart of Southern Africa! This small group of elephant have come down to the river for a refreshing and life-sustaining drink.

Things should be a true reflection of the way they were. I once saw a replica cannon and when they eventually found the real thing, it looked nothing alike. We have to be careful and make sure what we say and do is true.
Up until now I have only shoot this Dove in a Urban Setting where is very easily and commonly found. Thankfully, waiting for the Moorhen Chicks has given me another pleasant surprise when one landed on that rock in middle of the Creek. It didn't notice me immediately, so I was able to snap some shots. I ended enjoying this one the most because it looked right at me before flying away. Cheers everyone.

Thanks in advance for checking my Photostream...:)
This is one of more than 700 crystal-water springs in the state of Florida. I have a fairly simple underwater housing for my camera (it's a Ewa-Marine plastic bag actually). It wasn't quite as easy I had expected to get a split level scene like this: exposure concerns, narrow window where you see both above/below waterline (and you're treading water), and water drops on the lens on the above water portion! There is always something new and exciting to try/learn with photography.
