I could not resist a shot of this rooster back in August when paying a visit to his nearby home. He seemed to be thinking about something as he stood looking towards the setting sun...or like me, maybe he forgot to do something.....again???
The perfectly clear waters near Queenstown, New Zealand make both the actual mountain and the reflected mountain look real. Enjoy!

Thank you so much!
I have collected several items during my lifetime. Stones although have always been one of my weaknesses. Here are some nice shaped and processed ones.

A lynx is any of the four species (Canada lynx, Iberian lynx, Eurasian lynx, bobcat) within the medium-sized wild cat genus Lynx. The name lynx originated in Middle English via Latin from the Greek word λύγξ, derived from the Indo-European root leuk- ('light, brightness') in reference to the luminescence of its reflective eyes.
Two other cats that are sometimes called lynxes, the caracal (desert lynx) and the jungle cat (jungle lynx), are not members of the genus Lynx.

The Canada lynx (Lynx canadensis) is a lynx species native to North America. It ranges across Canada and Alaska extending into the Rocky Mountains and New Mexico. It has been listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List since 2002.
With a dense silvery-brown coat, ruffed face and tufted ears, the Canada lynx resembles the other species of the mid-sized feline genus Lynx. It is slightly larger than the bobcat, with which it shares parts of its range, and over twice the size of the domestic cat.
Realistic Abstract Photography. Candid iPhone photo of a reflective image, shot through two doors. Yard House happy hour, Springfield, Virginia.
Gorgeous light this morning - love the vibrant colours reflecting in the water... the fence helps with the foreground interest.
Another view of one of the many reflective ponds that speckle the tundra with the Alaska Range in the background.
Jökulsárlón Beach, Eastern Region, Iceland at sunrise gently brings a welcome warmth to the cold ice, to bring out the colour and detail of these natural sculptured pieces
The source of reflection was available in two hutches and one mirror within the dining room! Never noticed that before!
It is funny that a reflection of a small square of mirror picks up the lovely entire chandelier!
Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias)
Hyatt Lake - Jackson County - Oregon - USA
"Whether poised at a river bend or cruising the coastline with slow, deep wingbeats, the Great Blue Heron is a majestic sight. This stately heron with its subtle blue-gray plumage often stands motionless as it scans for prey or wades belly deep with long, deliberate steps. They may move slowly, but Great Blue Herons can strike like lightning to grab a fish or snap up a gopher. In flight, look for this widespread heron’s tucked-in neck and long legs trailing out behind..... Great Blue Herons have specialized feathers on their chest that continually grow and fray. The herons comb this “powder down” with a fringed claw on their middle toes, using the down like a washcloth to remove fish slime and other oils from their feathers as they preen. Applying the powder to their underparts protects their feathers against the slime and oils of swamps."

Each Friday and Sunday I'm to be found in the 35C water of the Pinder pool for exercise and Ai Chi.
The best is when sunlight filters through the end glass wall and creates quivering rainbows on the surface of the water.
(My camera stays home; I had a little photoshoot back along when I started here....)
