A small part of the wonderful moated garden at the National Trust Lyvedon New Bield in Northamptonshire.

She had evidently just finished her lunch on the other side of a restaurant window. Feeling a bit nervy, I popped in and told her I thought she would make a good photo for my strangers series and asked if I could photograph her from outside through the window. She smiled, shrugged, and said "Sure." I stepped outside again and took this. I gave her a thumbs up and she smiled. A very brief and passing meeting with another friendly Toronto stranger. Note: The green is a result of the green wall she was sitting against. The street scene is reflected in the window.
Reflection of trees in the lake surface, I quite like the abstract colours and shapes - although a couple of Great Crested Grebes in the middle of it would have been nice!
We've had lots of overcast or very foggy mornings this past week.....with Sea mist obscuring a lot of my Sunrise attempts.
So here's a couple of revised pics from earlier this year.

Some photos of Wakehurst botanic gardens in West Sussex, this view being of the reflections in the Mansion Pond.
The gardens are owned by the National Trust, but used and managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
This started as a photo of the sky reflected in the Hunter River at Morpeth. I liked the cloud textures and thought I'd try a mono conversion to make the textures a feature.

Still testing out my Kodak Medalist II after several repairs, this time with a more carefully re-spooled roll of film. Looking better so far at least
Took this shot at an industrial park in North Quincy, MA. Nothing exciting, but I was mainly looking for a subject with straight lines at infinity.

Ohman, looking through all my Seattle/Alaska pictures it was SO hard to choose just one to represent my week at sea on my cruise, but I kept coming back to this one. Also in Glacier Bay, Alaska. The water is a blue-green from, get this!, silt from glaciers. It's very reflective and clean, as you can see.
the dress I wore Sunday evening and a little camera play before I had to take my face off and get ready for bed.
Nothing worse than waking up in the makeup from the night before.
Better large, a little subtle. Yeah, I know, according to the formula, there's supposed to be a mist-shrouded rock in the foreground somewhere. :) We lost the sky to overcast clouds a few minutes after this, before I could get to the rocks. Actually it didn't look much like this, this is idealized quite a bit, and it became something more in the process, I think (?).
