This is one I rarely would submit. In fact, I don't I believe I've ever intentionally posted a selfie, but here's that limited posting. I was bored, waiting for my yearbook students to complete their write-off competitions at the National Journalism Convention held on Friday the 13th in Seattle, WA. I was extremely excited about finally being in an area that was truly exhibiting signs of spring. (We were told to prepare for the usually Seattle rain, but the sun shone the entire time we were there.) I couldn't help snapping pictures through the window, into the courtyard at the Convention Center and this accident was one of the results.

I had seen a version of this image on Flickr (sorry, I cannot remember whom the photographer was) and I wanted to have a go at it. I was fortunate that it was low tide when I arrived at Terras Crossing on the Looe Valley Branch as I had to walk out onto the river bed (I only got a little bit wet and muddy).
On 3 October 2018, GWR Class 150 numbered 150247 works the 18.06 Liskeard to Looe, the line follows the East Looe River. The light was beginning to fail, so I had to use a fairly high ISO, which has made the image fairly noisy (just like the photographer, some might say).
