In a mirror is where we find a reflection of our appearances, but in our heart is where we find the reflection of our soul.

Reflection in the Neponset River of the building that once was the power house for the former Baker Chocolate Factory; today it has been converted to loft residential units.

A controversial design by Helmut Jahn, the James R. Thompson Center is definitely unique.
One of my favorite things about this building is the infinite amount of angles and reflections you can find to photograph.
This was created using an information kiosk as a reflective surface.
An important difference between digital and chemical photography is that chemical photography resists photo manipulation because it involves film and photographic paper, while digital imaging is a highly manipulative medium. This difference allows for a degree of image post-processing that is comparatively difficult in film-based photography and permits different communicative potentials and applications.

.... with fennel. The European herb is an escaped invasive weed here in coastal California 😕. The marina is a soothing place to walk with little foot traffic—most times.

between the buildings in the opposite corners there is a highway (A12) with six lanes. It's actually 4 stories deeper from where I was standing :-)
A common viewpoint at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. Shot low at Blue Hour, to get the reflections within the pool of the Science Museum on the right and the Hemisfèric and the Queen Sophia Theatre in the centre.

In1264, Emperor Kameyama built a palace here. He believed deeply in Zen Buddhism and changed the palace into a temple in 1291. Thus was temple’s founded. A part of the palace garden still remains.
The garden ,constructed at the end of the Kameyama era,is a typical landscape garden with large ponds and lanes for strolling. It is serenely surround by woods and has been designated as one of the three scenic historical gardens in Kyoto.As the left rear ,there is a group of rocks which from a natural waterfall,and then a dragon-shaped upper pond with island. The lower pond also has an island.
This garden should be appreciated with an island. In1393,the original building was lost by fire and its replacement,also an Imperial donation,,was destroyed in the battle of Onin-no-ran ( Onin War) The existing temple, totally made of Japanese cypress ,gabled and single roofed,was restored by the mother of Shogun Tsunayoshi in 1703. In the altar of temple in a wooden statue of Emperor Kameyama (and Important Cultural Awwet).Painting on sliding doors ( black ink brush paintings) are the work of the Kano school. A portion of Emperor Kameyama's ashes has been buried in the small mausoleum in a corner of the garden. - Nanzenin
This is one of my favorite places in Sakyo Ward,Kyoto.
Montana Rail Link train MLAUMIS (Laurel to Missoula manifest freight, also known as “LM”) traverses Lombard Canyon at Lombard, Montana, on September 22, 2009. Powering today’s freight is a pair of EMD SD70ACes and an older SD40 (SD40-2XR).
There is something about those elegantly curved reflective panels that really appeal to me. The reflections on the panels change as the sky changes throughout the day. And I love those little square windows that also throw back the light.
