Artistic framing of a perfect reflective symmetry.

Symmetry is nature's artwork that creates harmony and balance.

The search for symmetry, and the emotional pleasure we derive when we find it, must help us make sense of the world around us, just as we find satisfaction in the repetition of the seasons and the reliability of friendships.

This bellflower bud is actually a weed and I try to tame it, but it is an aggressive plant. My house is 100 years old and this flower was likely planted a few decades ago for its lavender bell shaped flowers. Today homeowners are strongly urged to not plant these flowers. They take up space and steal nutrients from the soil. They spread via an underground root and taproot system. And, they set seeds and blow them throughout your flower beds. Lastly, they are not native to North America.
