between the buildings in the opposite corners there is a highway (A12) with six lanes. It's actually 4 stories deeper from where I was standing :-)
Montana Rail Link train MLAUMIS (Laurel to Missoula manifest freight, also known as “LM”) traverses Lombard Canyon at Lombard, Montana, on September 22, 2009. Powering today’s freight is a pair of EMD SD70ACes and an older SD40 (SD40-2XR).
This puddle in a layby has been very productive for me and I usually pull up near it on my way into work in the morning. Not much this morning but this lovely male Pied Wagtail popped in for a paddle.
An early morning a few months ago and my go to place if I have nothing planned. I normally get this place to myself but on this occasion I bumped into another local photographer, Chris Holder, we could not believe our luck when the mist started to rise off the Avon
Taking the little goslings out for a stroll is a learning experience as Mom makes sure that they are in-tune with nature and it's surroundings.
Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.
