Everything seems to be a little chaotic at the moment, and the dark evenings mean I can't get out after work.
I had a full week off work last week, with no plans except to get out with the camera and it already seems a long time ago!
Anyway, this is a shot from last week, of the waterlogged heath at Studland. Somewhere in this picture, the sky meets the water!

Here's another 'reflected bird' from my archive - it's the coot, a well know waterbird in the Netherlands.
The head is way more black than the rest of its body, but that's normal. Note the red eye!

Financial Planning: Knowing how to save money by bouncing one light to make it look like multiple lights. :D
For outtake photos and info about the lighting setup check out my blog.
Strobist: Since Im using cont. lighting the output on power wasn't adjustable so I had to use it from behind to balance out the lighting. I placed the dime on the silver reflection card, this will reflect the blue background. Then I used another silver reflector to bounce the light from the right to the left the onto the object as a main light. This help drop the power level from the cont. lighting source. Finally to give the coin some pop, I used a red gel for edge lighting. I angled it so that it doesn't bleed into the reflected floor. All these colors from a single light source.. :D
