Once the materials are retrieved you can view them one box at a time in the reference room. You should use the long paper place markers to keep materials in order while you view them. If you accidentally misplace something, do not shove it back in the box and cover your tracks, just notify the desk worker and leave the materials as they are.

 

Although not everything in the archive is old and fragile looking, all the materials should be handled with care. Most items are one-of-a-kind.

Location from: England

Other: A young adult that was evidently sourced from roadkill. Has some minor post mortem tooth damage.

 

Species Info: Muntjacs, AKA Barking Deer, are small portly deer with striking red coats. Their most notable feature are their long canines which are used for fighting. They have no seasonal rut- instead mating year-round due to being a tropical animal.

 

These deer are native to Asian regions but have been introduced to England, where they have become one of the most common deer species.
