This a reference pic for Hatsuharu (see previous). I apologize for the randomness of this picture, but it was the best one I could find of his coat...^^;
We also looked carefully at other details. For instance, the shape of the talons was difficult, as we wanted our owl to have a "thumb"... real owls have no thumbs.
FAIL!

September 4, 2007: We have re-freshed our collection of reference books. This year we will be getting a few shorter shelves that will allow you to review a title in the stacks. We also evened out the rows of books to make a bit more space.
The US Coast & Geodetic suirvey reference mark....have no idea what that is...but it looked cool in the ground....?
