The apple.com website was relaunched with a new, "Leopard"-inspired design with shades of black and grey, a big change from the old design, which had been around since about 2001. Apple.ca still has the old look.
It was a slow Saturday (beautiful weather), so I thought I’ll take a stab at redesigning our tour signage to be easier to read and more in line with our visual identity.
Left to right, top to bottom: from the original to the final beta (the final one printed had a sentence capitalization instead of title capitalization on tour names).

My Big Redneck wedding pitch. (I didn't win). The concept is an animated calendar of mayhem leading up to the big day.
The chair rail and crown moldings were added and then paint colors that complemented the existing furnishings and window treatments were added. We added three picture frame molding boxes with a darker accent color to highlight the art work.

Round 2 mainpage concept with special feature.
I wanted the corner of the clients office to be a place where she could sit, relax, read or study...all while sitting in a tree! So I painted a clean, graphic tree mural. I designed and built the small block wall shelves to add additional interest, light and shadow. I definitely wanted something on the wall without covering up all my hard work so the shelves were perfect. LIttle lights in the tree.

Redesign of the Logo for a photographer, accompanied by the Brand Identity Guidlines for the newly redesigned brand.
I spent a few hours in Photoshop this morning, trying to prove to myself that I'm not overly shitty when it comes to design.
So whilst I set out to design a new business theme to be released on WooThemes, I soon realized that I was onto something that hit a little closer to home.
This is the V1 mockup of the header. I still need to add a little something there, as it feels slightly empty, but I'm very happy with the colours, gradient & integration of my photo.
I'm also super-proud of myself for actually being able to cut out my photo and separate it from its previous background (something I haven't been great with before).

Modified for a few reasons. Much better.
This is funny: I literally just uploaded this so I didn't have to print it out. I'm designing upstairs on the computer and fabbing downstairs in the shop. I could print this out and bring it downstairs, but now that it's here I can just pull it up on my iPhone. Pretty cool, tho what I really want is a hologram I can set up down there...
